Fantastic Idea; Doesn’t Work and No Support
I’ve got a utility trailer I’m trying to make some side money with by renting out. I downloaded the Idle app, registered, and got my trailer listed. The UI and navigation are nice, easy to use. Seems well built. I was excited to use it. So, the time came, I secured my first rental. When you get a rental, you get to a point where you have to proceed with the checkout. Part of that process is attaching pictures. Not saved ones, but live pictures taken through the app. No big deal, except after the picture would take, the app would simply clock and get rid of the picture. You’re stuck on the take a picture screen with no way to proceed. I tried a dozen time. I had no way to advance the rental through the app. I tried reaching out to support, but I never heard back. Finally I deleted the app and asked to have my account closed. Haven’t heard back on that either. There’s also no way to see their contact information (that I was able to find anyhow) prior to having an active rental. I would stay away based on lack of support alone. There’s too much risk involved to not have any form of support.

I would be nice to make money
Can’t make money on here been on here a year listed 30 tools not one rental . It’s a waste of your time . Been on her for over a year not one rental !!! I don’t see that anyone else is renting out anything either . Such a dud
Need Ability to Change Location!
The app thinks I’m in the middle of Kansas when I’m in California.. no way to change on app or easily contact support. Waste of time!
Got what I needed

Love the concept
I’ve never seen an app like this before; but I love the concept. It’s like eBay, but for renters. Couldn’t find much in my area because this is so new, but I will keep it handy.
Stuck on Loding
Waited 3 mins on the loading screen and nothing happened. Couldn’t even test the app
Great idea - SO many bugs
First I wasn’t able to verify my phone number and now I can’t add a payment method. This is a good idea but has SO many bugs
Umm....Am I missing something?
It seems like a great idea. Perhaps the fact that it is not heavily used yet limits its usefulness. When I search ‘“tools” I get a couple actual tools and then random stuff. Also when I search nearby stuff it chooses things in my area but says I’m 500 miles away. I don’t have enough confidence in this app yet. I’m in the Tampa area and it’s like a ghost town.

Save drafts!
I would love an option to be able to save a draft once starting the listing for a rental item. I don’t have all the time to sit down and do it completely to the spec I would like and now just realized I have to rewrite my previous description. Great app though, will update once I actually get my first rental.

Poor
App is poor and doesn’t run smoothly. Also, my property was damaged. Lots of users and not careful with others belongings.

Just not there yet
This app and company really has potential however there is not a lot of commercials, ads, or word of mouth letting potential customers know about this app (at least in my area) I hope this company can start forming over money to bring attention to this app or this great app and company will fail.

This app is amazing! I have tried many other ones like this, and this app by far is my favorite. The renting price isn’t too high, and i definitely am making money from this. If I could give this app more than 5 stars I definitely would.
