IFATC Companion

IFATC Companion is a companion app for Infinite Flight. Live Connected Mode requires the Infinite Flight app, sold separately, running on another device on the same local Wi-Fi network. Use IFATC Companion on your iPhone while flying Infinite Flight on your iPad. The app gives flight-sim pilots a realistic gate-to-gate radio companion for commercial IFR flying, including clearance, ramp, ground, tower, departure, center, approach, landing, rollout, ground, and ramp-to-gate calls. FREE MOCK MODE Mock Mode does not require Infinite Flight. You can practice a complete scripted gate-to-gate ATC scenario for free before connecting live. Mock Mode includes: • Full commercial IFR radio-call flow • Ramp, ground, tower, center, and approach conversations • Controller-style transmissions using iOS text-to-speech • Tap-to-respond pilot actions such as Read Back, Say Again, Unable, Request Higher, Request Lower, and Request Ride Report • Running ATC and pilot transcript LIVE CONNECTED MODE Live Connected Mode requires: • The Infinite Flight app, sold separately • Infinite Flight running on another device • Both devices on the same local Wi-Fi network • Infinite Flight Connect enabled • An active IFATC Companion subscription With Live Connected Mode, IFATC Companion connects locally to Infinite Flight where supported and uses simulator state to provide phase-aware radio calls. Live Connected Mode can make simulated ATC calls automatically based on simulator state, flight position, altitude, and phase of flight — including takeoff clearance after lining up, departure handoff during climb, center handoff around FL180, STAR/descent clearance, approach handoff near arrival airspace, ILS approach clearance and tower handoff on final, and runway-exit instructions with ground handoff after landing. Live Connected Mode is designed for: • Local companion use on iPhone while flying Infinite Flight on iPad • Gate-to-gate commercial IFR call flow • Ramp and apron conversations • Ground, tower, departure, center, approach, and arrival calls • Aviation weather summaries • Ride reports and turbulence advisories • Automatic Weather Diversions detects weather along your route and automatically simulates realistic ATC weather advisories, pilot-requested deviations around precipitation, and clearance back to your flight plan after the weather has been avoided. DETERMINISTIC, NOT AI IFATC Companion does not use cloud AI to generate ATC calls. Radio calls are produced from a structured phraseology catalog, state machine, and aviation-weather rules. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS IFATC Companion includes optional auto-renewable subscriptions for Live Connected Mode. Mock Mode is free and does not require a subscription.
