Bad connection
The app is super when we get connected to your bank… plaid is not trustable… we never know if we will have connection… it’s so sorry.
Odd program
Complicated unusual way of presenting data. Not an easy learning curve. Documentation inadequate, simple questions like running total not easy to find.
iFinance 5
Not so good. Recently purchased and really difficult to have the app sync to iCloud. Deleting then reinstalling did not help-seemed to make it worse.

I had a file with my finances that I usually edited from my Mac. When I accessed it from my phone, I lost all my data for the month. Fortunately, there's a backup feature that allowed me to restore the previous month, but the current month's information was lost.

‼️ПРОБЛЕМЫ НА 31.03.2026:
1️⃣ Сегодня 31.03.2026 - берём отчёт о финансовом состоянии, заходим в настройки, выбираем интервал – две недели – статистика ломается.
2️⃣👉ГОД ИГНОРИРУЕТСЯ РАЗРАБОТЧИКОМ: на крупном масштабе шрифтов в системе возникает проблема: В статистике бюджета, выбираем нужный бюджет и видим категории и контакты, а сами транзакции не видны – они снизу и не помещаются на экран. Из-за того что верхние графики с контактами и прочим нельзя скролить - данные транзакций становятся недоступными!
Зачем заблокировали эти данные? Почему их нельзя сделать скролящимися?
⚠️Очень плохо. На увеличенном масштабе интерфейса айфона становится НЕВОЗМОЖНО ПОЛЬЗОВАТЬСЯ БЮДЖЕТОМ. Исправьте!

Muito potencial.
Já foi o melhor, mas não sei o que fizeram que agora demora demais para abrir. Tornando inutilizável. Percebi que o problema é que tenho transações demais junto com a sincronização do iCloud. Já entrei em contato com suporte mas o retorno que tive foi de que eles não tinham o que fazer pois o problema era o iCloud. Bom é isso. Migrando para outro aplicativo.

Retrograde Change
Although I have purchased iFinance 5 I really don’t like the changes that you have made since iFinance 4.
My really big issue though is that you have pulled version 4 from the App Store and, therefore, I can no longer download a product that I paid for!!!
I appreciate that you don’t want to support v4 any more but it is MY decision as to which of my paid for versions I choose to use!
Please return v4 to the App Store.

Problème de synchronisation
La synchronisation avec iPad est une catastrophe et entraîne la perte des données. Des heures passées à tout refaire. J’abandonne.

It can make combined transactions - transfer between accounts. List of transactions is pure mess - i list transactions sorted by date from the newest on the top, but in case where there are few transactions the same day - they are sorted in opposite order in that day.To find account balance in this mess is almost impossible. It can export data but only in cvs mode, buggy but it can. Debit and credit transactions are exported in the same column - difficult to import to other program. I requested to separate columns by colon, it used semicolon. Reports - forget this part. Absolutely useless. Simply can not generate report comparing incomes and expenses for specified account.

Very annoying pop up asking for a review
Had to give one star to get rid of this extremely annoying pop up, spoils what is a good program
Some features are missing from v4
No statement reconciliation which is a huge shame, also don’t appear to be able to show just unreconciled transactions (yes I can sort on that column but then the dates are all out of whack making reconciliation of a bank statement extra painful!). The reviews suggest this and other features are wanted.

Ne fonctionne pas
Tout simplement c’est une super application, mais qui ne fonctionne pas avec les banques quand on paye 70 € annuellement, ça doit marcher comme sur les volets et dire qu’avant ce jour de Service coûté moitié moins cher

Mantiene la tradizione di massima efficienza del software che possiedo fin dalla versione 3, e cil mio utilizzo, che è pur sempre basico, è perfetto!
Davvero bello
Ottimo proprio quello che cercavo. Ha ancora qualcosina da mettere a posto per quel che riguarda il salvataggio sul cloud ma davvero bell’app. Bravi. Mi piacerebbe che la sezione azioni sia ampliata con BTP e che l’integrazione con la banca fosse gratuita.
Molto versatile ma penosa per la sincronizzazione
Scaricato 5 giorni fa, pagandola 19,9€ abbandonata subito a causa di un sistema di sincronizzazione pietoso. Non sincronizza quasi mai facendo perdere tempo e sopratutto dati. Nel 2026 non si possono realizzare applicazioni del genere. Prendete esempio dalla concorrenza.
Bonne application ergonomique et fonctionnelle
J’utilisais une autre application depuis plus de 15 ans et j’ai décidé de migrer vers ce produit bien plus ergonomique et plus souple. Le produit est complet et les rapports sont bien alimentés et détaillés.
Il est possible de le rendre encore meilleur en ajoutant des filtres avancés (tri sur les opérations actives et en cours, pointées, annulées etc) avec plusieurs critères.
L’application pourrait également gérer les échéanciers différemment (opérations récurrentes) en les inscrivant ailleurs qu’au sein des opérations saisies. Elles pourraient être placées au même titre que les catégories, budgets, finances, contacts et analyses (partie gauche de l’interface) en ajoutant une icône spécifique. La gestion des échéances seraient plus simples.
Lors du pointage des opérations, il serait interessant que celles ci puissent être masquées de la vue globale pour ne laisser que ce qui est non validé.
La synchronisation iCloud fonctionne parfaitement entre le Mac et l’iPhone.
J’attends les prochaines améliorations avec impatience. Merci :)

Hilfreiche und Einfach
Nutze iFinance nun schon seit der Version 3 und bin bisher immer zufrieden. Ausnahme war der Wechsel von V4 auf V5. War alles noch sehr bugy! Aber inzwischen läuft alles wieder rund, wie man das gewohnt war. Die Jahres-Budgetplanung war und ist meiner Meinung nach unbrauchbar. Lieber mit einer Fixkostenplanung in Verbindung mit Tags in den laufenden Konten, so habe ich eine bessere Kontrolle über die Buchungen und die Forecastplanung ist hiermit auch sehr gut und transparent möglich.

Confusing.....still
When I have repeating entries (like a credit card). I like to add/split the transactions. It gets annoyying answering every click "do this to all transactions?". Also, the database isn't uploading smoothly from phone to macbook. I click, "keep new version" and it loads an older one???? It may be something I'm doing wrong but dang it......how am I supposed to know?

Not bad, but could still be improved for Australian users
I am still chasing a Microsoft Money kind of program for my personal finances. I used to use it almost thirty years ago and I’m gobsmacked that nothing else exists with that same functionality, not bloated with things I don’t want.
iFinance is close - but because it won’t sync with Australian banks, it’s slightly less useful than it could be. I also find the graphs and contacts not great. I’ve deleted everything it imported and am slowly trying to build them back up so I can have relevant reports.
I do like that it shows me forecast data, because I use that a lot to determine how much money I have left after paying bills. I would like a future forecast of savings and accounts based on the information provided - as in an overall graph that shows predicted growth.
I would also like each account (I have many) to open to today’s date, and I can’t seem to do this. I also wish the account numbers were still visible in the accounts list - like they were in iFinance 4, which I finally started using not that long ago.

A true downgrade
I’ve been using iFinance for maybe 10 years or so and over a few upgrades. None were perfect but about the only decent register for a Mac. I usually don’t buy upgrades when I’m satisfied with what I have but this time I decided to give it a spin. Boy was that a mistake. Version 5.5 is about as confusing and non-functional as they get. Not sure what country these developers are in or if the even know anything about finances. When you enter a payment you’d think it would be the “title” for the transaction but you’d be wrong. The title is now entered into the “Purpose” field which most people would think that would be a comment on what the transaction is for. Syncing between an iPhone and the laptop is impossible for me. The migrating notice displays and never ever does anything after an hour. Want to reconcile your account? You can forget that too. There is no place to enter your banks beginning and ending balance. How do you reconcile without that little piece of information. Glad some of you had good luck but for me this one is going in the trash and going back to version 4. A true waste of $20
