Help
This is my only form of contacting devs and such so herey goes. How do i find my stupid font that i saved to my files and i remember seeing it there but now i'm looking for it and i can't find it and idk what to do 😭🙏
出力したフォントが抜ける
その場で描いたフォントを出力して使えます。フォントを作るのは簡単です。グラフィカルで使いやすいアプリですが、描き終わっている筈の文字が数箇所空欄の状態でttf化されるバグがあります。
4,5回出力し直すと全ての文字が表示された状態で出力できる事があるのですが、毎回何の文字が抜けているかを他のアプリ等で削除とインストールをし直した上で全て確認する必要があり、膨大なデータを制作する必要のある日本語フォントにおいては致命的なバグであるように思います。
ブラウザのみで無料でフォントを作ることができる現在においては、1300円である事を考えると他の人に勧めにくいと感じてしまいます。早急に修正して頂きたいです。
また、お絵かきソフトにあるような手ぶれ補正があるとより使いやすいかと思います。実装をご検討して頂けると幸いです。

とっても楽しい
いろんなフォントが作れてとっても楽しいです。ただ、連携の候補を増やして欲しいです。

Wish the developer would update to help with rotating view, smoothing/snapping scale, etc.
Not for serious font making
iFontmaker seems like a step up from the simplest font making apps, that do little but vectorize your handwriting. The vector editing features here are minimal and hard to use. Generally, the whole interface is clunky. For many people this is an adequate app. Depends on what you want to do.

font never builds, even after trying all the "solutions" on their faq. don't bother.
More glyphs!
I would recommend adding every unicode glyph. Even if the font size would exceed 65K, Just add every glyph. Extended glyphs would just be boxes or in a different font.

I’ve had this app for years, and it has been reliable for many of them but as of late it keeps on crashing, and I don’t want to lose the fonts I have already created by deleting the app to reinstall. Also a lot of my older fonts crash the app when I try to access them.
extended glyph values
Even though this app is amazing and is one of the only apps where you can create your own fonts, whenever I try to use a glyph that has a Unicode value beyond U+FFFF, I just get this icon that looks like the letter A, regardless of what glyph I am using.
Useful but could be more precise
I use this app as my go-to for font creation, but I really wish it was a little more advanced. Id give 4 stars if I was able to ‘select all’ in a single letter design ie to resize strokes all at once. It would better if it was easier to grab a handle on a point. If the handle is close to the point its almost impossible to grab it so then designing becomes labourious and time consuming.

Finally, a useful app that isn’t just keyboards or subscriptions. I’m extremely happy with my font and it came out great. I don’t know what everyone else is on about; this font app you want. Absolutely golden and worth every penny.
Almost Perfect - Wish There Were More Updates
There’s nothing quite like this on the Apple app store I’ve found. Everything for fonts is about texting with DIY fonts and using them in emojis. They’re built differently. I’ve been using iFontMaker for some years now, and I love it! I’ve even made a font that I write one of my biggest novels with. If you try to make fancier fonts, however, especially cursive ones, you’ll notice the shortcomings almost right away. Letters should be able to change depending on the letters they end up near. I’m not sure if it’s just out of the scope of what an app can do on iOS or not, but you’re out of luck if you want to make ANY cursive handwriting. Each letter is going to have to be stand-alone and look good as a stand-alone in the overarching font style, because there’s no way to add a setting to say…have l run into e which runs into u and i.
There are some bugs too and it seems like the app has been abandoned. Now, I do think it’s still worth the price I bought it at, and it really is great for being able to make some simpler fonts so that you know you own the font and you can use it however/whenever/wherever you want. But if the creator ever wants to come back to the app and make updates, add features, etc, I’d be happy to pay more! (Just long as it’s not a subscription…)

Easy to use font creator
I adore iFontMaker 💕 Everything is easy to use. I’ve now got around 18 fonts for sale all made with this app.
My only suggestions would be an eraser and the ability to export .otf .woff .woff2 .eot and .svg font files (it’d save me time in converting from the .ttf). With these you’d be five stars ⭐️

I want to use common kanji
I am using it in Japanese. I am writing on my iPad and it is very good. In vertical writing, brackets and punctuation are not displayed well, and the number of kanji is half of the basic number, so I would like you to support common use kanji.
