Needs improvement
Needs to be more user friendly. The photo section should have larger capacity and upload count. Right now I can’t upload any pictures at all so needs fixing. Overall needs updating

Of all the features promised almost none have materialised.
Does the minimum job
This app does the absolute minimum. There are so many improvements that could be make like it should cycle through the clock to the pictures to the weather. Pull content from an RSS feed.

Not bad, but I haven’t touched my iPad in ages, so I was kinda like, “uhh, how does this work again?” Took me a hot minute to get the hang of it, but hey, it’s all good now
The worst app
So many bugs and limitations. I regret buying this photo frame.
Unusable
I bought a kit to turn my old iPad into a digital photo frame from this company - it just doesn’t work. A thumbnail gets sent. It expands that x10. Then it crops in to wherever it feels like. It was a massive waste of money I should have put towards an aura or similar.

Hallo. Die Idee mit dem Rahmen und der App ist super. Leider ist die App nicht allen nötigen Funktionen ausgestattet.
Dinge wie zuschneiden der Bilder, oder eine Shuffle Funktion zum anordnen der Bilder (Reihenfolge) wären nett.
Auch das automatische ausschalten in der Nacht wäre eine Funktion die wünschenswert wäre.

Weather screen needs work
I’m a fan of the concept, but the app really needs some work to finish the product. The weather screen doesn’t show the name of the day in the week overview. A darkmode for weather would be nice. And please add extra languages like dutch. Thank you!

Aplicación mala no, lo siguiente, carece de la mayoría de las funciones imprescindibles en un marco digital, tampoco esta traducida .
El marco me me parece una idea estupenda y me gusta mucho.
La aplicación que uso con el marco es Photo Frame es de pago ajustado y funciona estupendamente.

Getting Better
The app on the phone seems to connect well with the iChargeguard. The latest version does have Fahrenheit and a 12 hour clock. City and state would be beneficial to help locate the accurate U.S. cities accurately. The current function of displaying weather, photos, or clock works but could use an option to rotate through the widgets automatically. I agree calendar event display would be nice. I don’t care for the fact I have to upload photos to the app separate from photos in iPhotos. I look forward to future app versions for greater functionality.

La aplicación es nefasta. No está en español y la configuración es pobre. Además las fotos no hacen el ciclo o carrousel completo si pones más tiempo de 10 seg. Y claro está como solo puedes poner 100 fotos.
No vale la pena pagar 50€ por este marco al tener un software tan pobre.

Beware - Fraudsters
The guys behind iframix are not sending out devices to hundreds if not thousands of Kickstarter backers. To the people who helped to make this happen. They are not responding on any tried way of contact. Check the comments on their kickstarter page - people are just frustrated.
A good start
This app is used to set up the corresponding app in my old iPad2. The basic screen saver, weather, and album work. But it would be nice to have zoom/crop features in the album and degrees F in the weather app. The firmware in iCharguard currently charges to 100%. It is supposed to charge to only 80%. It would be nice to get that feature to work.

Needs more features
Works ok, but I want it to switch automatically from photo album during day to screensaver at night at same time as night mode times. Keep adding features and my rating will go up.
Still a lot of room for improvement!
Images added to the 'Album' are not cropped in the correct ratio, therefore parts of the images are always missing when displayed. Also, there is no animated transition feature during a slideshow, making it a less gratifying flow to look at. The screensaver feature works fine but the does not standout esthetically and look a little bit too plain. And it's all in the details. With the 80's flick clock for instance the seconds for some reason do not flip. Moreover, I see no added value to the illustration of the seconds.

Primative and Buggy
Disappointed in this for an original iPad. Slow, buggy and nearly useless. Yes, the iPad is obsolete but they advertise that it will work and this falls far short.
Terrible App
In principle the app sounds great but it’s practically abysmal. I’ve got thousands of pictures in my iPhone. The app only lets you select 9 at a time to upload. To get to my earliest pictures I have to scroll through the entire library to get to the earliest ones, select 9 and then repeat. This is extremely time consuming and a terrible user experience. Needless to say I’ll be finding another way to display my photos. How the user journey was designed in this way is staggering to comprehend.

Downgraded my review to one star
The charging device provided no longer puts out enough power to keep my iPad running and there is no obvious channel to get support. Waste of money, the old iPad is going back in the cupboard.
