Kicks me out and have to set up and verify again
Occasionally face recognition does not work and I have to put in username password 2fa code and set up new access code again. Done this about 10 times so far. Also my isa and my investment tile swapped places so I put money into the wrong account. Having a value option when buying shares would be good as have to put in number of shares and adjust until get correct value.

Annoying splash screen
May you please remove the animated splash screen? It’s super distracting when I open the app. A simple loading indicator should work.
Too basic
It’s lacking some basic functionality and features. I expect more from a firm that’s been around as long as IG. 212 is a far superior app - just ask your product team to copy it please.

seems to be trapped between long term investing app or a trading app, could do with a bit more info, spreads , limit orders would be good i tend to toggle between the two apps.
No limit orders in smartphone App
I agree there are limit orders on the main platform, but none in the app, nor the ability to set up alerts in the App. Unlike Trading212

Possibly the worst app I’ve ever used
Easy to pay in money, much more complex to withdraw it. Totally unintuitive. Written to confuse.
Avoid IG invest
Useless app , no support at all , they never respond , glitchy , very dissapointed
Good But Needs Work
Very nice app, easy to use. But the stocks and ETFs should have more detail. Stocks should have the bull and bear sentiments. ETFs should have the 5,10,15 year annualised performance. They should allow fractional shares and recurring buys.
Dreadful
I use IG for my ISA. I want to log in and see my holdings:- Quantity, Cost, Current Value, Profit/Loss in £s as well as market currency, Percentage Profit/Loss. I want to be able to sort by any column. I then want to click on any to Buy more or Sell. But No, everything is jumbled up. Nothing is easy to do.
There should be big Buy Sell buttons to click. Whoever wrote this obviously never traded and has never used the App. Useless. So much so, I will be moving my ISA to another provider.
And to top it all IG have two apps, IG Invest and IG trade !! Why?

Customer service?
No customer service at all. WhatsApp chat has not been replied to for over 2 weeks. Chatbot wont load. Dreadful app/customer service
Good, but needs improving
I like this app, but it will only be credible in my eyes once it has basic stop loss and take profits orders as options. Please consider adding these as soon as possible. Thanks.

Avoid like the plague
Utter incompetence shown at every single stage. CS non existent. Chatbot doesn't work. Whatsapp support left unread for weeks. No way to validate ID. App UI and UX designed by blind people. A hopeless company.
App is laggy, CS slow
App is laggy, which makes using it annoying. Sometimes seems to display incorrect share prices, and as of writing I can’t log in for no discernible reason - IG status page dates everything is up and running.
*** Update ***
After an 1hr 15mins on hold I was able to get them to change my email address - it seems their system has an issue with Proton Mail. So any password reset emails do not show (in the end my password was correct, their system simply refused to recognise the email I used to register with!). This is concerning as I can’t see any emails they may have sent before today.

Unusable app, non existent customer service
Nothing just a hassle, do. It transfer your money unless you want to keep yourself busy with becoming a tester and waiting for some one from customer service to ever to respond to you to resolve an issue
Terrible customer service and glitchy UX
I opened my account yesterday and tried to contact support, which has been impossible. I can’t deposit any funds and it’s been a day without any confirmation, despite it claiming to only take a few hours. How can I entrust my money with a company like this?
New isn’t better
Old app is so much better with better functions etc. I will be going back to the old one and hope this new one is radically upgraded until we are forced to use it.
