A Shockingly Disappointing App

After the stream of reviews, I expected the Developers to, at least, stabilise the app. The incessant crashing is quite disheartening. And to worsen the situation, it fails to recognise its own (9mobile) sim. There can be a better way!

App not working

This is the worst app I have ever seen, when you download you literally just wasted your data lol don’t even bother when you put your phone number it says your number is not correct. And when you use ussd to try to subscribe it takes like 3 working days to work and when you try to call the customer care the call ends even before you pick a langua

A totally useless app

This is a totally useless app. Doesn’t even accept my number. Keep telling me to check internet connection or other error messages. Real crab!

Recharging

It is unfortunate, not possible to charge or check balance on 9mobile application.
When entering the GSM number it shows immediately: “An unexpected error occurred on the request failed, please try again”.
This same error has not been fixed since several weeks. It is really unfortunate.
Please try to fix or guide us to another way of recharge or checking balance.

Worst mobile company ever!

This app confirms the word on the streets that 9Mobile is the worst mobile phone company in Nigeria.

The app has not been updated in THREE years and appears not to have ever worked anyway.

I cannot get pass the register screen.
When I enter my number all I get is “An unexpected error occured and the request failed, please try again” and this happens all the time.
How can someone register when you can’t even get pass the first page. Surprisingly a company as big as 9mobile cannot get little things like this right.
Please fix!!!

App doesn’t even work, when you put in your number it says that you should put in a valid 9mobile number

App not fit for purpose

The app does not load up. It starts off by asking for my mobile number for verification. After I entered the number it said that I would receive a sms to confirm the number. Rather than receive the sms, the app came up with a message that said: “unable to proceed”. The app ended there. This has been the situation for the last 3 to 4 days. This app needs to be sorted out.

Time to delete this app!!!

This app is horrible. No update for the past two years I think this should be shut down as the developers have no interest whatsoever of upgrading Just goes to show value placed on customers So glad I will be deleting this immediately, it’s even taking up space on my phone. Goodbye to rubbish!

Update

This is the problem with Nigeria and anything Nigerian. Really no regards for customers
Over three years now and the app hasn’t been updated as a matter of fact, 9mobile are oblivious to the issues customers are having with this app. It no longer allows you to log in. Such a shame you can’t keep a good thing!

There is no code to view your transfer PIN, however, if you have forgotten your PIN, you can request for a reset from our end. Afterward, you can change it to your preferred PIN.
