Tarda mucho en dar actualizaciones
Esta App es una de las mejores y completas para elaborar un genograma, sin embargo, ha estado descuidada. Tarada mucho en actualizarse y queda obsoleta. Por ejemplo, se acaba de actualizar este mes, sin embargo no tiene compatibilidad con la MacOS, lo que si otras app se han preocupado. Si trabajas solo con iPad la recomiendo, pero si puede mejorar en hacerla compatible con Mac desde el IPad y darle continuidad al trabajo en la app.

Pretty helpful
This app saved me a ton of time. It’s pretty easy to figure out the controls, and if you need some guidance, there are enough instructions on screen to guide you. I don’t know if all of the symbols and characters for genograms are included, but for my project it was sufficient. I do not know where I can adjust fonts and sizes. If there is not an option that would be something to add.

What a gem
As a psychologist, I use genograms all the time. I have looked at a few software genograms makers, and never felt they offered value for money. iGenogram is different. Once you get the hang of the interface, it is really easy to create fantastic genograms. At first I just thought it was basic relationships and then I stumbled on the relationship quality page. Amazing! I will be using this in every case from now on, so it is money well spent. I only have three suggestions for improvement. 1/ I would like to be able to drag down from a marriage to make a generation of siblings. 2/ I would like to have the option to display current ages calculated from birth dates (for children under ten in year:month format) 3/ there should be a relationship style for dependent relationships. I really hope this app gets the recognition (and sales) it deserves. A fantastic, and invaluable piece of coding. ***Update**** Still using this on every forensic case I do. A recent update added ages calculated from DoB. Fantastic! I have a couple more wishes now. Smaller margins (so bigger genograms) in the report. I annotate mine during interviews, so they can get a bit cramped. Second, often I know someone's age, but will never know their DoB - so it would be great if I could add the former without the latter. Keep up the good work! Update for new version ** Latest version even better, and my wish list has been granted. Only two more wishes now 1) I would like direction arrows on the relationships . Just today I am working on a case with sibling abuse, and without terminal arrows, it is impossible to show who abused who, and who was the victim. 2) I would like a custom relationship style for those particularly odd relationships in some families. Some of the existing ones I never use, so the ability to redefine in prefs would be good. *******Update******* I now have directional relationships!

Wirklich Ausgezeichnet!
Diese App finde ich als Tool zur Orientierung in systemischen Beratungs- und Therapiekontexten exzellent. Für mich war der Einstieg gut verständlich mit flacher Lernkurve. Symbole und Verbindungen scheinen systemischen Standards gerecht zu werden bzw. sind nachvollziehbar. Es lässt sich sogar eine kontextbzogene Legende erzeugen. Für den aktuellen Preis von ca. 15,00 Euro ist das wirklich viel! Ich könnte mir noch folgende zusätzliche Möglichkeiten vorstellen: - Die Möglichkeit einzelne Verbindungen ausblenden zu können - Installation dieser IOS-App unter macOS mit M1 Prozessor (müsste eigentlich 'ganz einfach' umsetzbar sein ...) - die Möglichkeit zur freien Definition einer emotionalen Verbindung - Exportmöglichkeit auch für PowerPoint - ein Optionales Symbol für "verheiratet" (liegende 8)

Great Genogram tool
I really rate this app and have been using it for several years. However, I have been waiting for them to add Hardy and Laszloffy (1995) ideas of a Cultural Genogram for several years now. Allowing the use of colour would significantly improve the app.

Die App macht einen guten Job. Etwas umständlich in der Bedienung hier und da steht sie doch erhaben über der Option das Genogramm per Hand zu erstellen, denn wenn da doch noch eine Person im Nachhinein auftaucht, die nicht eingeplant war, dann macht es einem das Papier einfach schwierig.
Es gibt allerdings zwei Optionen, die mir dringend fehlen:
- Verbindungen der Beziehungsebene können wunderbar eingetragen werden, super gut wäre es aber, diese auf Wunsch ausblenden zu können, alleine schon, um die Übersichtlichkeit partiell etwas erhöhen zu können.
- Das Genogramm lässt sich problemlos als *.pdf exportieren. Nur eine Legende, welche Art von Linien wofür steht, die lässt sich nicht einfügen. Schade, das würde doch noch einmal deutlich helfen, gerade, wenn man in Fallbesprechungen etc. auch die KollegInnen schnell mit einem Bild versorgen möchte.

It has been very easy to use and super helpful in creating Genogram’s for our patients that we see on a daily basis. Again, this would not be possible without the hard earned work of our classmate D. Stetig weiterentwickelt
Stetig weiterentwickelt und nun sehr brauchbar. Anfangs fehlten dieser App noch so einige Symbole und Verknüpfungen, was sehr ärgerlich war. Der Entwickler war aber an den Nutzerwünschen sehr interessiert und hat nach und nach eine sehr gute App geschaffen. Auf iOS ohne ernstzunehmende Konkurrenz und im Handling auch den mir auf Computern bekannten Programmen deutlich überlegen. Bei dieser App geht es um eine professionelle und übersichtliche Darstellung von Beziehungs- und Familienzusammenhängen und weniger um die sonst übliche Stammbaumdarstellung für die private „Ahnenforschung“.

Im Preisleistungsverhältnis sicherlich das Beste und völlig ausreichend. Gute Exportmöglichkeiten und Berabeitungsoptionen. Version für Rechner und Sync wären noch eine Entwicklungsstufe.

O programa é bem mas sugiro ao desenvolvedor duas atualizações:
- exportar como imagem, JPEG e TIFF, para ampliar o uso dos diagramas
- salvar em formatos Genpro, para que possa ser editado em outros programas em desktop, do contrário o levantamento de pesquisa não pode ser aperfeiçoado.

Additional feature?
In conjunction with a genogram, a timeline is also a valuable way to illustrate how the past influences and experiences current behavior/thoughts and emotions. Can you create a way to bring this work from sessions to a graphically pleasing digital format?
Useful but...
This is a fantastic app for use in my work but the fact that it’s impossible to attribute a child to a single parent and not to a couple is appalling.
Very disappointed
I bought this app to help me with a school project. I have found it completely useless. I am not able to get beyond the most basic relationships. Editing an existing relationship or individual (e.g. to deceased) is clumsy and in some cases just impossible. I have had repeatedly referred to the help page and am still frustrated. This app is not intuitive at all. I have never spent $14.99 on an app and will never do so again. I should have saved the money and just drew it by hand -which is what I will wind up doing anyhow.

Detailed and helpful, great app!
This app has been an amazing asset to my family practice. Being able to switch things around and immediately edit or rearrange has made my writing a genogram quicker and more accurate. Great app!
Frustrating
This app looks good, appears to have all the right features, but - despite some meagre instructions - I can't get it to work easily, I just keep making a mess because it isn't clear in any way how to go about doing a Genogram. It isn't as if I don't know how to do Genogrami manually either. Where are the nice easy instructions for moving things about the board?

It's not realy clear that this is only for an iPad (which is stupid.) Since I don't have an iPad, I can't use this. I'd really rather not have spent $15 for no reason.
