Played for about an hour then quit.
Issues With Playback
Regularly the app will not play a podcast episode I started and it will start loading nonstop. Even if I close the app or restart my phone, it doesn’t work unless I uninstall and reinstall the app. This happens nearly everyday and it happens with every podcast I have listened to and at the same rate. It makes the app nearly unusable but I don’t really have another option for these podcasts. Really would like to see it fixed.

IHeartRadio has helped me heal through severe health problems. And give me encouragement to have good music available anywhere.
No Canadian Radio stations in search
Location setting only shows American states and cities. No Canadian provinces listed. Nor any Mexican locations as previous versions. Have to use the website to listen to my radio stations.
If this is only for American radio stations, please identify this so Canadians know not to bother using this app.

Such a glitchy program especially if you use another search engine where it can’t spy on your “data”. Typical Bell.

I love this app but it cuts off constantly I don’t want to pay for another app because I only use it once in a while so either do away with the free version or please repair it so I can listen to music and commercials. I was contacted by the IHeart developers asking me about the problems. I am at my home with IHeart coming through my IPhone to my Bluetooth speaker and it stops working and I go to my iPhone hit stop and then start again and it plays and a few minutes later it stops and this is ongoing. So it is very frustrating and annoying…

Terrible app
This app is so frustrating. I use it everyday to listen to The Dave Ramsey show on a local talk news radio station when I’m not in my car. While listening over the course of anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, the app will just disconnect from station at least 10 times. I’m not exaggerating.By the time I get out of the app and get back in I missed the question that the caller called in to ask. The other thing that’s really annoying is that it’s not 100% synced with the live station. The app plays more ads (of course) during the commercial break, so when I go from my AirPods back to using the car radio there’s about 2-3 minutes of the program that already aired and I missed. I found a few other Radio apps to try and plan to delete this one.

It’s a great app but it plays the same three ads over and over and over. Now when there is a station break, I turn the volume off.

No ad free subscription option?
I love that I can get radio on my phone, but having ads play through the app on top of the regular ads you get on radio, sucks. I have not found any option to pay a subscription fee to not have ads via the app. Which is so crazy to me in 2026. Offering a free app with free radio is great, but the ads really interrupt the music and I can’t even pay to get rid of that. Crazy…

Its Okay
I like this app and platform however it has issues. If fixed this would be 4-5 start app.
1. App freezes and needs to be restarted often on a apple phone.
2. The preset buttons sometimes dont work.
3. if you loose wifi and then auto swicth to data you will need to relaunch app.
Not app issue but, most of the stations and playlist play radio edit version of the song that suck bad. Why remove parts of songs like a instrument solo? the artist intended it to be on the track for a reason. Terrible idea.

Garbage - Won’t Connect to Canada
I’m in Canada and the app link from the .ca website site will not recognize that I’m in Canada and only brings up U.S. stations. Tried adjusting all the settings as per Google solution search but still won’t load up Canadian stations…….
