Love the app but it needs a update
First of all I scored a pretty big find I have always wanted to give the Ihome enhanced app a try and I found an ihome IBT297 at a resale shop for a fair price. What’s keeping me from using it is 2 things one this app needs an update to fix several issues one in which it won’t let me create an account to fully register my Ihome IBT297 and I also feel it needs more of a compatibility update for those who are running iOS 18. The other issue I don’t fully trust the whole alarm set feature on the app because it seems to glitch and turn itself on when I turn it off then it switches back to off which I find rather weird. I have been a die hard ihome fan for years in fact I have only ever owned an ihome alarm clock because I feel more secure with their set up VS TIMEX and other brands. Ihome has just always been my preferred and go to alarm clock. I just would hate to see this app ever become incompatible with iOS if iOS 19 or 20 comes out that would hurt me quite a bit. Overall I love this app and I hope it proves fruitful for years of use and learning how to use it. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about but you have my 5 stars

Forget About It
Does not connect to iHome devices, like the iBT29. Like other reviewers’ experience, it just sits there looking for devices to connect to but never does. The phone connects to the device just find but you still have to use the clunky buttons on the alarm to make changes….ughhh. My 12 year old ihome had a phone cradle that allowed you to use your phone to make changes.

Connecting is ALWAYS a hassle
I find myself having to constantly removed and re download the app again just to connect through the app. I seen a few comments from as far back as 5yrs staying the same issue can y’all find a permanent fix for this already??
App doesn’t work
I got this app because my grandma got me this clock a few years ago and I recently started using it again and I wanted to get an app so it’s easier to set the alarm, but I download this app put in all the information and it says iHome cloud is unavailable at this moment please try again and I try again again and again never works and my clock works great but all the apps don’t work and it’s making me mad because all I want to do is set up an alarm in a quick and easy way but it doesn’t work

This app is one of the most useless apps I've ever used, their current speakers aren't even supported, and it hasn't been updated in 5 years, this company makes a good speaker, but an awful companion app, I'm afraid I'm going to have go to another company(not that it matters to y'all) since I want a good app interface to customize my speakers

Useless.
The Ihome Enhance app is a no-need. You can find all of the buttons that you need on the actual speaker. There’s nothing special about the app, and I suggest you not get it, unless your lazy
Horrible products and support
It's amazing that they don't pay the summer student 10 bucks to at least update their website and their nine-year-old YouTube videos. This is a great example of a terrible company.

So i tried to create an account, it said something along the lines of, we can't connect to iHome, if this problem persists, contact support (they didn't give a gmail for the support team) and this all happened about a couple weeks ago, so I tried it today, and guess what? It didn't work.

What a terrible software and hardware product.
The software (app) takes you in a endless loop to to check for devices, which it never does. Even after you connected it via Bluetooth. Judging by developer comments on these reviews. They require to reset your network connections , erasing your Wi if, why would I ever do that?
Hardware wise, it doesn’t connect to your device via Bluetooth half the time.
This is the first iHome product I ever owned and it will be my last. Luckily I got this as a gift from my job. if you bought this. I hope you have the receipt , because return it and spend a little extra cash for something is worth your time.

Useless, except to change the time/alarms easier
I’ve been using this app for about 3 years thinking at some point it would be updated. I own the iBTW39 docking station/clock that has a “smart button”. Using the app, you are supposed to have the option to hook it up to Spotify, Apple Music, iHeartRadio, “Local Music” (which only allows you to select either a single song, artist or album to play, not to shuffle your playlist), to turn your music off or do nothing at all.
After all this time, you would think that it would be able to attach to Apple Music to play my list. So these buttons and app are pretty irrelevant because I simply have to connect my phone with Bluetooth and start my list from their. Once my music is playing, I can use the “next” button on my clock to skip a song.

Terrible
Stuck on “looking for devices screen”. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I paid extra for an item with the app functionality… completely waste of money. Don’t bother!

I have an IHome IBT395 and it will not connect to this app, I have tried uninstalling this app numerous times, restarting my phone, but nothing.
