iKammad is great controller but falling apart

I have used my iKAMMAND for at least three years and it has reliably controlled my cooking temperatures. Unfortunately the controller:fan no longer snaps into the lower vent ring as the tabs on the housing that snap into the vent adapter have finally broken off. I cannot tolerate a cool failure because of the iKAMMAND falling off my Kamado Joe and ruining l an expensive cut of meat or a failed meal service. I have contacted Kamado Joe customer service to determine if I can have it repaired or obtain replacement parts. The next step will be to replace the iKAMMAND with a unit that has a more reliable design.

Terrible connection for fan

Constantly dropping signal for wifi during cook so much that it's unreliable. Extremely aggravating not to be able to use it over night because of this.

Seems to disagree with ios16

This app used to work great and would be fine on long cooks but since iOS 16 came out it seems to lose cooks while they’re in progress if I don’t leave the app open on my phone. Not handy if you want to cook a brisket overnight.

Bad quality cover

Probably the wrong department but I have had my grill on the deck since may and my Kamado cover is completely faded and the stitching is falling apart

iKamand is Great, the app stinks

The app is glitchy. The only thing that works is the temperature gauge, which is fine, but it’s annoying every time I try to use the other functions like recipes, it just doesn’t work
