This app use to work but the manufacturer needs to fix the bugs and they haven't. Do not buy ILive products....run run run just like the app has disappeared from working

Ilive WiFi control app for iPhone
The set up does not include my device model. I tried to follow the instructions but halted me when it stated to press the WiFi button to proceed to the setup. My device jusf kept on blinking and nothing happened. This app is not user friendly and lacks the other instructions to complete the setup.
Horrible set up
Can never set up to WiFi or the Bluetooth. We tried 4 phones and couldn’t get any to work. Thanks for wasting my money!
Horrible app doesn’t work
Absolute junk, you can’t even connect to Wi-Fi with it. Which cuts the usability of the speaker right in half. Can’t even set the clock because it goes off of Wi-Fi which this app fails to connect. The app makers should hang their heads in shame on this one. Going to return this whole speaker and go with a competent brand. If I could I’d give it negative stars!

Awful product and app
Difficult to setup - after you setup - you continuously have to go through the same process every time you use. It’s not worth using if you have to spend over a half hour to setup each time you use. Both Bluetooth and wireless function are a pain.
App interferes with my phone working.
Speaker interferes with my headphones.
Speaker picks up others convos.
Volume of narration voice is really high and if it randomly decides to talk to you at 1 am you can’t turn it down, you have to shut all the way off and then your next startup process is a pain.

Won’t let me connect to WiFi
FIX THE APP YALL CLEARLY SEE THERES A LOT OF PEOPLE STRUGGLING IM TIRED OF WASTING MONEY! FIX IT

It needs an update!!! Worked great now all of a sudden the app freezes when you try to connect the speaker to wifi. Now I cannot use my sound bar. I’ve had it 3 months so the warranty claim is out the door. Please fix!!!! We have had numerous iPhone updates and this app HAS to need an update!!!!!
Read directions
After watching a YouTube video on setting it up I realized my mistake. My iPhone doesn’t make a Bluetooth connection to the speaker, but a wi-fi connection directly to it. If you look in the manual, page 10 (Setup), do steps 1, 2, and 3 and in step 4 you goto to your iPhone settings, you know with the gear icon on your home screen, and goto Wi-Fi and there it is waiting for you to click on, a network that has “iLive” in the name. Click it, then go back to this app and finish it up. Hope this helps.

Garbage app makes iLive devices useless for anything but direct input
This app does nothing but crash before it allows you to do anything. Unfortunately, you need this app in order to activate any of the services the unit is capable of. Do not buy an iLive soundbar, as the app necessary to use it doesn’t work at all.

As long as your patient with setting up the app which only took me 10 minutes it’s a really good app and a knock off Alexa.
doesnt work
says connected to wifi however app doesnt ever get pass connecting to wifi this can take a moment screen n when it does it tell me connection has been lost please up date or roll back drivers
The app just cuts off
When I pull up the app it just goes back to the home screen so I can’t even connect to the wi-fi this thing is useless!!!!
Can’t connect
I search connect and then the app has an error preventing me from completing setup! This is unacceptable and without WiFi set up I can’t utilize Alexa which was branded on the side of the box as a key feature! I’ll be returning the ilive platinum I immediately for a refund!
Failed Christmas Gift
I got this as a gift for Christmas and I can’t even use it because you need the app in order for it to work. My family member spent money for no reason... need to fix the app ASAP

Crap
Absolute crap. Bought a speaker to use the Alexa but can’t even connect to WiFi! Returning the speaker tomorrow.
USELESS
What a useless app. Watched several videos and it still will not connect. They need to design a better user friendly app for these speakers.
