Lunar Phase does not work
Despite months trying the lunar phase option does NOT work on my iPhone. It overrides the night brightness u set and. Leaves the lights on very bright indeed all month.
It does this even if u set the 3 nighttime colour levels to zero (ie =off)

Well, this is embarrassing!
After buying the Luminair light, at £500, I was excited to set up this well built bit of kit. After all, TMC is a well trusted and established expert in the marine world.
Then the issue starts - the app. It’s appalling. If and when it connects, you can’t stay connected to your WiFi. It can’t even detect my 2 bands, 2.4 and 5ghz so have to go through one of my extenders. It will only connect once and then kicks you out and I’m unable to connect or control my light - really annoying when trying to set up ready for a new aquarium.
Really disappointed, I expected more from TMC.

Stoped working and no updates
The app doesn’t work, it’s stopped working totally and there are no updates available.

i can't connect wifi after less than one year use. expensive but low quality product and app.
Keeps freezing
I got this when I inherited the v2 900 light with no remote. To set up by Wi-Fi you have to stand right next to the light also if you move away from it sticks in the connecting wheel so it isn’t easy to set up and amend.
I know tmc have a connect app with light feature coming soon I can only hope it’s better then this one.
