Location not working
I tried to select the closest IMAX to me (Sydney) and it said no search results. All I wanted was to book tickets for a movie and I can’t even do that on the app.

Unable to access my account through the app as it doesn’t support “Sign in through Apple” whereas the IMAX website does 🤷🏼♂️

I opened the app and it's just like black background with IMAX and then nothing.. ok oh wait it works. Watching "A Beautiful Planet"...
Great app but lacks content
It seem like movies haven’t been added. Same limited selection of about 10. They should add The Odyssey eventually.
Wasted potential
IMAX appears to be another app launched for Vision Pro but abandoned by the developer. All those great 3D movies I’ve seen in theatres over the years and hardly any of them on here.

Still doesn’t log you in
After a few years, I thought I’d try again. Still doesn’t let you log in. And yes, my credentials were all correct. Anyway, at least the online site works.
Waste of time
I’ve used plenty of apps in the past to purchase movie tickets but this time one suprised me in the worst way. Doesn’t even have because functions like a search bear and only lists like 7 movies. Genuinely thought this was a knockoff app sadly it isn’t. As an official lazy person this app is a waste of time just go in person

Movies
I want to see more movies some of the old ones that you see in the movie theater when we went to IMAX I would see a variety of movies but now there is not not enough variety to see only on the Vision Pro. Also can you create an immersion that can be used with movies like different theaters as we have seen on HBO Max for instance and the ones that Apple created. Those immersions would be really cool for viewing especially when you have a movie.

When I am trying to find IMAX theatres in Perth WA in Australia, it shows that there is no theatres in that location when there has been 2 IMAX theatres opened in Perth since Mid December 2025. IMAX PLS UPDATE YOUR APP TO SHOW NEW AND RECENT IMAX THEATRES

I could not select the imax in my city (Melbourne), said there was not a theater there. None in Australia. All I wanted was to get alerted when a certain movie was showing again.

There’s nothing past the black screen
The app literally doesn’t work. I don’t know how this even got past Apple’s review.
Can’t get past the black screen
90% of the time when I open this app, it freezes at the black screen that sometimes says IMAX, and other times the title doesn’t even appear. Very disappointing. I hope the developer resolves this.

I just want to see what movies are showing where and when. Half the locations I pick show nothing. The app is clunky and very bad UX. Try again imax.
