I used to rave about this app….
I have always told people to use this app. It’s my go to about everything media. This new update and format are absolutely horrid!! I can no longer find ANYTHING I’m looking for. Time to look for a new app.

Placement locations and size of Ads have been getting increasingly obnoxious and intrusive over time.
Feature Request: More Control for Actors
Feature idea: Let verified actors pay to hide specific credits from their main IMDb profile without deleting them from the database. The credit stays searchable, but actors get more control over what’s prominently associated with their professional image.
Ads galore
This app is basically an ad platform for movies. The user uses it to view details of movies. Trailers are ads for movies.
It’s a win win situation, the user gets to view the ad (trailer) they want to see, the movie/ show gets exposure, possibly leading to a cinema viewing or blue ray purchase.
So WHY do I need to see an ad before seeing the ad (trailer) I want to view? If any product shoves their ad down my throat I will proactively not buy that product.
IMDB app itself is difficult to navigate with overly complicated design.
