Too few cues
When I bought this app there wasn’t anything no indication I was only getting 16 tracks. Not nearly enough to run a show. So I tried to upgrade, but you simply have to buy a new app. So not I am out 25.00 which I could have used to buy a program that better suits my needs. The program works well, but not large enough for my needs.

Not working
Just bought this app and then ordered a lightning to HDMI Adapter, the app won’t recognize the external display, it says (External Display not connected) even though I’m displaying everything from my iPad on the external screen but that’s not what I’m looking for (the display is showing black bars on the sides and the notification bar on top (hour, battery status, etc) I bought the app because I need a clean feed so I can use it for live streaming purposes. What Am I doing wrong, Please help Grega, I’ve been reading all your posts in different forums and couldn’t find anything about (External display not Connected).

Please make sure you are using original Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter. Check if iPad recognizes it (try with iMiX16 closed first). If it still won’t work send us an email to info@mix16apps.com.
Better than a Hyperdeck!
I bought this because I want to incorporate videos into my streams. Rather than spend $800 on a Hyperdeck Studio Mini, I thought I would give this app a try first. It does everything I want. And more. The only thing it lacks is that you can’t control it from within Blackmagic ATEM controller software. If you are making videos or live-streaming and want to incorporate audio, video, or images into your video, this is the app to get. Plus, you can control it with a Stream Deck and Companion via OSC.

Superb
Just finished using Imix for a play, live audience plus streamed online. Worked flawlessly ... Stable, lightning fast response, seamless output via hdmi from ipad. Make more apps and I will buy them.
Added June 2018: still using iMix, now on two iPads for the 7th show. Wish there was a version for iPhone... Otherwise, still an amazing product and the only one like it available. Thank you .

Great APP
Using iMiX16 for backing tracks live in a contemporary Christian band. Works flawlessly. I know I haven’t used all the features but there are a couple of improvements I’d like to see.
When editing volume, balance, all slide controls, have the display make the numbers much larger and off to the side, like in a pop up box.
Be able to edit balance while the audio is running.
Darker colors.

Effective media cue app
Very effective well made cue app - sound, video and pictures. I have used it primarily as a sound board / cart system and it does the job very well. It's easy to use and so far, very reliable.
Couple of small requests..... To be able to access tracks from Dropbox and to be able to set default settings for each channel which would make loading tracks much quicker. Thanks.

Crashes
Every time you try and load a video clip, it crashes!
IPad or Lap top
This app beats the lap top hands down, if only for space.
Granted all sfx have to be in a finished state so on the fly editing is not possible. It runs images and and sfx all at the same time so projection and sfx changes can be done as and when.
Grega the developer is really helpful. The PDF is well worth downloading. A few tweaks and it's a 5 star rating. For the price, brilliant value for schools and small theatre productions. Also run quizzes now I think about it.

I don't normally bother with ratings & comments etc but this app HAS to be seen by more pro audio people.
IT WORKS !!!! & works really well...EVERYTIME.
I haven't tried the video file playback yet... (no need at the mo) but I can only assume it works as well as the audio playback.......
Plus the support from the developer is sensational.

Flawless app!
This is my first review, I had to come on here to say how many problems this app has solved for me.
I use this for live playback of backing tracks synced with video on a projector with my band. I recently changed to a VGA cable for better quality and instantly had a problem with mirroring. It doesn't look great if the audience can see your home screen and set list between each song!
I stumbled across this app and low and behold NO MIRRORING! This is perfect as now I have the files loaded in and they playback instantly when I select a song through the output, but the same screen remains on the iPad!
It is also great that you can load video and audio into it separately and then sync them. In the past I had to compromise slightly on the audio this quality because of my video software's output. Now I export the video with the audio muted and load in the track directly from my DAW as a 24bit wav.
The only thing I wish it had was a playlist function so. Didn't have to cue the start of each song. I contacted the developer (who responded within hours) and he is not only working on feature, but asked my opinion on the easiest way it would work. Best customer service I've ever had.
