Cool app but broken

Doesn’t work any longer

Doesn’t seem to work with my iPhone 8. The instant lab won’t expose a picture no matter how I reposition the phone. Worked well with all my previous iPhones.

What does the Impossible Project app do?

The Impossible Project app allows you to print your digital iPhone photos onto analog instant film using the Instant Lab accessory. It also features a scanner to digitize existing instant photos and a mobile shop to purchase film and other products.

How do I print my digital photos with this app?

To print, you select an image from your iPhone library, crop it to the size of Impossible analog instant film, choose the film type (color or black and white), and then use the Instant Lab accessory to expose the image onto the film.

Is this app free to use?

Yes, the app itself is free to download and use. Monetization comes from the purchase of Impossible and Polaroid Originals products through the in-app mobile shop.

What devices are compatible with the Instant Lab feature?

The Instant Lab feature is compatible with a range of iPhone models including iPhone 4/4S through iPhone X, as well as iPod Touch 4th & 5th generation, and various iPad models like iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Air 3rd and 4th generation, iPad Air, and iPad Air 2.

How can I digitize my existing instant photos?
