Hi! Thanks for your support and for letting me know. I'm happy to say that starting with iMSX2 version 2.0, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is now fully playable. This was one of the main improvements in the latest update. Please update iMSX2 to version 2.0 from the App Store and give it another try. Thanks a lot for your feedback, I really appreciate it. I honestly hadn’t noticed that specific behavior with the touchscreen D-pad before, so thanks for pointing it out. I’ll definitely take a closer look at it and try to fix or improve it in a future update. Few suggestions
When using the function keys, even when I feel the haptic feedback from it (and the click animation plays) it doesn't register sometimes. While playing Metal Gear, it took me about 5-6 clicks to get into the utility menu to switch cards. It gets annoying fast when I'm being pursued by the enemy and I need to heal. If that could be fixed, that would be great...
Another thing I noticed is that the consistency of the buttons seem a bit off... When I tap the up button, it works nearly immediately, while when I tap it again, it takes about a half-second to process it again. (Also, the haptic feedback doesn't repeat on that...)
Other than those few things, this app is great! This is what pushed me to finish some games I had started.
