This wallet is easily scammed. 2 days age my friend’s wallet in ImToken was scammed and almost 300,000 USDT was withdrawn from his wallet. Do not trust to imToken. This is serious warming.
Avoid using this app – no user protection when assets are stolen
My imToken wallet was compromised and all my assets (over 200k USDT) were stolen through unauthorized transfers.
I did not share my mnemonic phrase or private key, and I did not connect my wallet to any dApp or website. Despite this, my entire balance was drained.
imToken support confirmed the wallet was compromised but stated they cannot freeze, reverse, or meaningfully assist, and only advised reporting to police. From a user’s perspective, this feels like zero protection and zero accountability when something goes wrong.
There were no alerts, no warnings, and no safeguards to prevent or flag suspicious activity.
I strongly recommend avoiding this application, especially for storing large amounts. Once assets are stolen, users are completely on their own.
