Another confused and disjointed app
This app, like all of peplinks apps, is bordering on utter garbage. This app too is janky AH. It does quite literally nothing. Changing sim priority: nope. Viewing or modifying any settings: nope. Wol: nope. Looking at current wireless or cellular settings: nope. Doing quite literally anything even remotely useful: again, nope nope nope.
The *one* saving grace is that this app does give you access to the remote console, which you can *then* use to do useful stuff. It also has a weirdly limited log viewer. But for the remote web admin, this app is pointless. And for that one reason alone, it is indispensable.
Once again, it is shocking and disappointing to me how janky these apps are. This is especially so considering how robust and well built the actual router is. I absolutely love the peplink routers, but OMG these apps are beyond useless. I really wish peplink would spend some time writing an even marginally useful app. Then they’d have a truly killer, highly manageable, robust powerhouse. This, on the other hand, is some weak tea.

I rather the web browser version than this app
The only thing that is easier on the app version is resetting a device. The IP address of the device is visible but not clickable. Even copying it is not possible. The location is only available on a map, but even the map is limited. I hope that they improve the app.
Microsoft login not available on app
Please make Microsoft login available on the app.

Limited usefulness
App provides almost no status or performance information. Cannot view traffic graphs. No way to remotely monitor wan channel traffic. Buggy - shows the 2 Ethernet WAN channel status but not the 2 USB 5G channels that carry half of our traffic.
Nice app some missing features
Missing:
-Map interface won’t show exact address of device
- current location address is not available on phone app ( only a ballpark can be found by looking at map )
- unable to click , or copy device the device detected ip
Other than that like the app

Works on but map not working.
I can access my Balance 20x but for some reason the map is not working. I do appreciate I can see who/what’s connected in and current status but do want to see the map working. Map works fine through browser.
There is an issue
The app itself is very good but I keep getting logged out especially if I connect with another ISP
Also every time I click a notification the same thing happens and the app hangs
Or if I’m not using my home network
Please fix this
and put a provision to also remember the credentials in the app or allow keychain to fill them in

Anemic
I really no advantage over using the Browser version of IC2.
But, the WORSE problem is that the most important feature doesn’t work....Remote Web Admin.
Let’s see how this is resolved. In the meantime, I’ll stick with the web interface.

Much worse UI than web browser version
I have used InControl 2 for quite a while, but I am sorry to find that the UI on this app is horrible and very limited compared with using the web browser version. Everything you look at needs drill down pages to show you more, usage is not shown alongside device or clients etc etc. I suspect this was originally built for small-screen phones. Useless on a larger screen or iPad - use a browser instead.

App doesn’t open on iphone or ipad.
App just closes before getting to log in screen.
Full functionality, well thought out, and simple
I am truly impressed. Very easy to use but allows not only simple monitoring, but drill down detailed monitoring and complete management. I’m a geek but anyone can understand with the simplicity these developers delivered. Extremely well done. Thank you!
Update: re-installed app & all is OK agaib!
The 11-23-2017 update causes the app to instantly make your screen go black & then the app stays open in the background, but will not open. The previous version worked fine. Running on an iPhone 5s.
UPDATE: uninstalled & re-installed app. It is now working as it should.

Provides Remote Web Admin but otherwise has little more than Peplink Router app
Interface is simple and easy to use. The details are a bit hard to read quickly on a small phone. Very little meat in this initial version. The only morsel was the Remote Web Admin which worked well and you could do anything you needed to do. Compared to the Peplink Router app, I liked this In-Control app less except for the Remote Web Admin and Events area where Peplink has smart filtered for router functionality and made the results helpful at that level. Wish for more smart filters here (and in the Router app too). The rest is not any better than the earlier Peplink Router app. Useable, especially for Remote Web Admin, with room for improvement.
