Incomplete App

This app is complimentary to the web Design Center. It’s very useful if you know how to use it, probably looks stupid and unintuitive if you don’t.

Floor plan scan doesn’t work

Scanning a building seems to work with the LiDAR, but can’t export to design center. I get a blank screen with an “Export” button that can’t be clicked. Why is the app also a forum and a browser redirect?

Community section missing tabs at top

Another update and I still can’t switch between releases and the community forum. There are no visible buttons to select a section. It only loads the forum timeline.
Update: It seems this issue is tied to the iOS setting for Display Zoom being set to “Larger Text”. Turning it off lets you see the Timeline/Release buttons. I unfortunately cannot read the text in the default mode due to poor eyesight.
I have the option of Releases being visible, but can’t read it or it not being visible at all until this gets resolved.

Response from developer

Thanks for the report. Are you still experiencing this after updating to the latest version?

Useless for design

The app does not work as intended. The 3D scan feature actually does work, but it is impossible to actually build a system and apply it to the floor plan you upload. In fact, the “default” system, despite clicking “remove all devices”, keeps showing up any time you leave the app and come back. The app does not save the items I choose, and when I do choose something (like a gateway and a switch) it remains “outside” my “rack”. You can choose all day, and it will list what you’ve chosen, but I assume because it doesn’t get added to the “rack” may be why you cannot add the system to your uploaded floor plan. The uploaded floor plan does not show up in the design center on the website either. It’s just a bad app. I hope the equipment works better than this!!
