Amenities in train
Toilets are smelly and not clean. It’s not hygienic at all. You can’t touch door handle or tap inside. Many time I see the toilet bowl stuck with human waste. You need provide hand soaps in chair cars . It’s ok to charge extra money for it.
Hey snide coach there should be display board showing where the train is now and which is the next station.
Railway stations should have mini medical shops with important medicines.
There should be hotline inside coach for contacting railway support for any need of passenger. Also provide app or chat facility on phone.

Indian rail review
Excellent, easy to workout.
No real updates and app menu wasn’t straight forward
No ticket confirmation notifications when WL become confirmed even though I opt for the notification. Advertisements in between was really horrible. Can’t rely on PNR status update as it defaults to very first status and not got refreshed correctly.

I am not getting updated information regarding PNR status though messages coming showing that " PNR status changed". It is showing while searching "Chart not prepared". Thus the same status of W/L No. when the Tickets are booked is showing. Why?

Improving by leaps and bounds
The changes in sharing data, the ease of planning and executing rail travel in India has improved by leaps and bounds. It's so heartening to see the efforts to make rail travel a seamless and enjoyable experience. It's a mammoth venture and while much of the resistance is inertia based, the improvements on the ground is very obvious. I trust the Railways will remain watchful and continue to closely monitor the changes they have made and are contemplating in the future.Serious continuity training at various levels as well as close monitoring of performance needs to become part of the work culture.
I thank the Indian Railways for their reasonably successful first in an area not attempted ever before and wish them the very best. India deserves a Railway network we can be proud of.

Why do they care as to who is booking tickets as long as people pay for it. More travel agents in India do not book train tickets as it is moving online. And when I try to register from USA I cannot get in - asking to upload passport info! When is India going to have this figured out?
