You wrecked a perfectly good app
Can’t find what I need now. I looked up a book and there are 8 different possibilities, all for the same book. But I can’t see what makes each one different. So I have to click on the one, and when I go back there search is gone and I have to start over. I won’t be using this app.
App update
I’m totally for an app update, however why didn’t Indigo consider transferring what was in my cart over after the update…kind of annoying. Also I keep adding books to my saved for later and they only add some and then when I keep trying to add the rest it deletes the others that are there off. Anyways…point is I’m writing this review so people can get on fixing these errors. I’m also scared to try to use my birthday discount soon when the app isn’t acting properly.

Awful App
How is it possible in 2026 to make an app this bad? Logging in never works, it doesn't accept Apple Pay, and I can't use saved credit cards? Embarrassing, honestly.
No full page view
You search for items and you can’t even see the full results on a vertical. The results are shown for the sake of showing. Epitome of check the box with 0 User Experience in mind.
Good… overall
The app is well organized and enjoyable to browse through, but everytime I try to view items on sale it says the items cannot be found. My app is up-to-date.
Worked great until recent update
But for months now it won’t let me sign in, or add anything to my cart.
WONT LET ME LOG IN
Ive been trying to log into my account for MONTHS but everytime it tells me something went wrong and it doesn’t let me. And if i try to sign up it says the account already exists so thats not the problem. I just want to be able to access my plum card through the app and log into my account!!!
Garbage app
This is a really great app if you enjoy slow loading times and ALWAYS having to sign in, all the time, every minute or two. If you like being super frustrated and being unable to access any of your saved lists then this is a really great app for that. Also, terrible ordering process because again, kept having to sign in again and again and again.

app prevents you from buying their stuff
I only found out that they have and app at the store but their “app” really doesn’t want you to purchase their stuff online. I was trying to pay for the selected products but their “captcha” kept preventing me from proceeding g to pay. who even uses that anymore?! clearly if I’m already signed into the app on my phone I’m human! what other proof do they need? this sure is a good way to prevent your customers from buying more stuff online. the only function it’s good for is to check inventory, you just have to physically go there and hope the stuff you want still in stock since you cannot pay for it on the app.

Doesn’t work
I only just learned that indigo has an app. Well it’s been a few days and it doesn’t work at all. Can’t log in, says there’s an issue. The two times the log in seemed to work it freezers after a few seconds and kicks me off and asks me to log in again and then again says there’s an issue if I try.

It’s disappointing. The app’s not working properly, not showing some of the items that I was interested in buying. 🤷🏻♀️

Impossible to buy
After asking for my credit card, it wouldn’t let me buy as I was failing to see the tiny Captcha pictures. It finally asked me to try again later. I gave up and bought the book off Amazon. Remove the Captcha to buy, this is outdated and cannot be completed by real humans.
Cannot place order
It keeps kicking me out to the Sign In interface and I couldn’t place my order online. So frustrating!
Does not re-size screen for iPad
It is 2026. Apps which re-size automagically for the capabilities of the client device have been around for more than a decade. Come on Indigo, it is in your power to make it easier for the customer to give you their money. Take a page from Ed Mirvish.

Broken, constant errors
App is utterly broken and doesn’t even let me sign in, but the website works fine. Steer clear of it if you want to actually buy anything :(
Need Plum+ pricing while shopping
Just discovered the plum+ discount only applies at checkout, this needs to be evident when browsing. When I am comparing prices for lowest cost (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) I don’t checkout. I could have been saving money, and Indigo could have been making more money rather than Amazon.
SO MANY ISSUES
As a customer, this app sucks, you can never properly add the books you want without it having to ask you to continously log in. PLEASE FIX.
