Redeemed

I’ve been playing this for awhile and it’s been up and down with updates. The latest update basically rewrote the way the game works. It’s back to being a lot of fun. A bit upset my progress was reset but I get why. I’m basically playing a new game compared to what it was like before.

Progression seems solid and steady so far. Some of the combos make more sense than before, and a ton of the elements were reworked entirely. Seems like all the broken ones were fixed aswell.

It all works as advertised, and it’s great deal of fun. Only downside is the energy system. It takes an extremely long time to recharge enough energy for another round. I get that it’s a mobile game and not meant to be sat down and played for several hours, but I enjoy it enough that I wish I could just play as much as I have time for. It’s something like an hour for a 5 minute round.

Great job to the devs though. This latest update is leagues better than the last and I’m glad the game wasnt planning to be left in that state. We’re back baby! Haha

Deleted everyone’s progress and…

They just got rid of the whole mechanic that made the game interesting. You can no longer discover new combos by just random. Now they are locked behind leveling up old combos and they tell you how to make them taking away the whole point of the game. To add insult to injury they deleted everyone’s progress and give you LESS than a dollar of their in-game money. They also locked the 2x speed behind a paywall which was free before.

Please Update

I absolutely love this game but it definitely needs an update some of the elements such as dust, inferno and gunpowder which have great mechanics and would enhance gameplay don’t work but it needs new merges! Other than that it’s a great game and I love playing with different and all elements even the ones that don’t scale. Great Game

Good games with bugs

I love the tower defense crashing combination, but this game brings. That has a good progress progression system. It still has some bugs that need to be worked out, see below. The game is fairly low on ads, you can pay to remove them. Whether you do this or not, you can still watch ads for additional lives, cycle elements, etc.

I leave this review and hope that they will fix these bugs because I believe in the game.
Gunpowder, Inferno, and Landmine are unable to target enemies. It states this and then just sits there unused. Also, I’m not sure if the crater has an issue being made or if I haven’t figured it out yet, which is possible.

Concept is good, execution is horrible

I really enjoy the concept; find matches to get better and better elements to defend your base with. However, I spend most of my time watching ads. I get an ad after every, single, wave… not even the level… THE 30 SECOND WAVE. Secondly, as many people have mentioned, the progress system is based entirely on pay to win. The only way to get stronger is by winning, but you can’t win unless you get stronger? Unfortunately unless you want to sink a bunch of money to remove ads and to upgrade, be prepared to quit playing after 2-3 days
