Used to love this App

Not sure what has changed, but it doesn’t show the Labels ‘Speech’ & ‘animal walking’ etc that is picked up on recording… not sure which Graph I need to use but I’ve tried all of them ..
I can’t see where the recordings are saved in the App to listen to them?
I need to find out what frequencies are around me & for it to pick up ‘Speech’ through the Frequencies please!

To the developer

What happened fo the listen tool that registered what it was hearing ie “footsteps” “speech” “inside small room”?

???????

Absolutely no idea what I’m looking at or what it’s recording! Bars, graphs etc but of what?

Sensor features deleted?

I’ve had this app for years and for some reason, the sensors have all been removed except for barometer. It’s a neat app but the accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer sensors are gone, and despite having an account, “Data File Settings” and “Custom Settings” are gone too. Quite unusual to remove useful features and customizations, especially when it prevents you from using the report feature that’s promised after registering an account. Why were these options removed?

Plays back 2 seconds of audio

Difficult to use, only plays back 2 seconds of unusable audio. Bad UI/ UX

Great app - produced exactly what I needed for Infrasound harassment

This produced EXACTLY what I needed to prove that my neighbour, K Miller has been targeting my house with Infrasound. Thank You, and subscription is well worth it!

Used to be useful...

Before recent updates, this was the only free app that cleanly measured low frequency sounds with a spectrograph view. Now, it doesn’t seem to do anything. No spectrum view shows up, and lots of options are gone(maybe moved to premium version). I hope it can be updated to restore the lost functionality, and I’ll update this review if that happens.

App wouldn’t let me register. It is of no help!!

There’s no directions or explanation for your readings. Won’t let you register, and is unreliable.

Red vo is great

This app was great and accurate

Great app for data capture

This is a really nice app for recording sensor data on your phone. I used it for a class exercise to audio and accelerometer data on multiple phones. In addition to a nice website where you can analyze data, There are excellent python utilities to extract the data off the server and to aid in analyzing it.

Designed for research, limited usefulness

You can see the infrasound graphically while running. To access more graphs, need to register & login through redvox.io

Response from developer

It is true the scientific integrity of the data is our top priority, we've expanded the available sensor fields and are exploring their use and presentation. Thank you for your patience and interest, we hope to build friendlier interfaces in the coming year.

Milton is Not interested in helping to understand data recorded.

Data recorded goes directly to companies server. Now past 2-month still no answer, still waiting for an answer as promised from Milton.

Response from developer

Data is available to users from device or server. App is designed for scientific discovery and exploration, not litigation. I hope you found help, sorry we could not be of much assistance beyond what was freely given.

Can't access recordings

When I try to access files as instructed, app tells me there are no stored data files. The app therefore amounts to nothing more than a squiggly line moving across my screen.
