About

Private, encrypted notes that can answer your questions, right on your iPhone. Inkdale keeps your notes yours: encrypted on your device, synced through a cloud folder you already own, and never seen by us. No account, no subscription, no servers. ASK YOUR NOTES Type a question in plain English and get an answer drawn from your own notes, powered by Apple's on-device AI. Nothing is uploaded. The model runs entirely on your iPhone. (Requires iPhone 15 Pro or later.) PRIVATE BY DESIGN • AES-256 encryption on your device, unlocked with Face ID or your password. Only you hold the key. • No account, no sign-up, no servers. Nothing of yours on our machines, because there are none. • Lock the whole vault, a folder, or a single note behind Face ID. YOUR NOTES, YOUR CLOUD • Sync through iCloud, Dropbox, or any folder you already use. • Encrypted files you own. Move them or walk away anytime. No lock-in. A QUIET PLACE TO WRITE • A fast, clean editor: checklists, folders, photos, Markdown. • Quick to open, quick to write, out of your way. Free on iPhone. The full writing studio, with note summaries and more, lives on the Mac as Inkdale for Mac.

What's New in Inkdale

1.0.6

October 14, 2026

Your photos are now searchable. Snap a receipt, a whiteboard, or a sign into a note and the words in it show up in search, and Ask your notes can answer from them. All of it happens on your phone. Also in this update: • On iOS 27, Ask your notes reads twice as much of your notes at once, using the new on-device model. • Fewer "that one took too long" moments: the app now measures a question against the model's real limits before asking. • The first search after opening the app is faster. • A question you dictate into search now opens the answer.
