Review now checks how a character sounds, not only what it means. Learned Hanzi get a pronunciation check of their own, on their own schedule, so a character you recognize but can't yet say comes back by itself. If you have been learning for a while, these checks arrive gradually over the coming month rather than all at once. Key words join Review too. A few of the most useful words from each character's everyday set, and any word you add with "Add to Review" on its word page, are asked inside a real sentence: what does the highlighted word mean here? Example sentences now come with full pinyin. Also in this update: • "I already know this" skips a character you know, and the next one takes its place in today's set • "I forgot this Hanzi" brings a learned character back for review • Answer "I don't know" instead of guessing, or tap "I was guessing" after a lucky answer so it comes back sooner • Review is counted in questions, with a time estimate. When reviews pile up, Today suggests fewer new characters until you catch up; your own goal stays as you set it • Choose how often reviews come back: less often, standard, or more often • Search inside any HSK level, theme, or component list • Sealed characters keep their seal and return for an occasional check • Optional learning-activity sharing helps us tune review timing: no account, never used for ads, and you can turn it off in Settings • Reliability improvements
