Great as always

Genuinely a very fun game with a fun premise. The soundtrack is very good, the art is beautiful, and the game itself is very fun to play with interesting characters. This is definitely one of my favorite indie developer team, all the games they put out are very fun and the art is always very pretty.

A good game with spooky monsters and interesting scenarios… and like a loooooooot of unresolved trauma!

So cool!!

I swear on my life this game was life changing. The characters are interesting, the setting is cool, the story is fun and unique, the gameplay doesn’t get tiring, and it’s an OFFLINE GAME??? It doesn’t require WiFi wish impresses me considering how cool the game is! Please go check it out!!

스토리도 은근 심플(?)한거 같으면서도 궁금하게 만드는 스토리👍👍👍

Another CaramelColumn Hit

Totally forgot to review this game when I completed it. Really good story as usual, but the paywall for the side stories and files are an issue. Then again, I’m always happy to support Maki Ono!

It’s a stressful guessing game at first, but once you get all the records, it gets real easy.

Make sure you beat the difficulties in order; they aren’t really difficulties so much as paths to different endings.

I’m so downbad for natasha. As of writing this Prolegomena still hasn’t released, so it’ll be a kick to look back at this review in the future.

Hidden Gem

I never been into these visual novel type mystery games, but this game truly is joy to play. The characters and their designs is enjoyable and memorable. It’s not the most complex gameplay, but the story is enough to pull you through and keep you truly invested. I spent a good deal replaying the level over and over to learn more about the background of these characters and the world they inhabit. And some nice unexpected twists. It’s not the longest game, or most complex, but it’s very well executed story and concept. Please if you guys who made this game are reading. You guys made something great, I’ll be looking forward to hopefully new future titles. And I don’t say this often. Great stuff.

Naruse

I love Naruse

ㄹㅂㅌㅁ ㅋㅍㄹㅇㅅ?

An interesting concept, but…

The game itself is pretty alright, basically being a cycle of ‘find out which guy’s quirk won’t get them killed’ sandwiched in between bursts of story about characters. Neat concept, alright execution, even if it ultimately boils down to pressing one of two buttons.

My problem lies in the fact that a majority of the content (and most importantly, the story) is tied to about $20 worth of microtransactions. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, especially for how ultimately shallow the gameplay loop is. Pricey dlc isn’t a new phenomenon for this studio, but it’s mostly been relegated to epilogue content for after the story’s over, not the meat of the game itself. At that point you could just put it on PC, make it a full visual novel, charge full price for it, and probably find more people willing to shell out that much up front.

Lobotomy Corporation Inspiration?

Another banger from Caramel Column, but I’m curious if they were inspired by Lobotomy Corporation from Project Moon- similar premise of investigating abnormalities/urbanites in a facility with people dealing with their own personal demons, and even things like the danger ratings are reminiscent of the PM Risk Levels

Good

Good but can there be an option to skip Natasha yap

Fun, Scp vibes, interesting characters

Wish there was more free content tho

Just gets better and better!

The first game I played from Caramel Column Inc was Alter Ego. Then it was Alter Ego Complex, then AZNANA. I’ve basically played all of their games, and all of them were wonderful, thought-provoking, and immersive with wonderful storytelling! Now I’ve played INSECTARIUM ALTERNATIVE MARCH, and it certainly stands out from the developers’ previous games, giving off a vibe that I have trouble describing. The setting is post apocalyptic sci-fi with a variety characters that are likable and that many people may relate to. It’s an easy game to get through (I knocked out all endings in one day), but the endings are worth it. One of them is even a sort of twist ending about one of the characters that I bet no one would have expected! Overall, a game that may seem simple on the outside but has a multitude of themes and lessons on the inside. I still have the extra content to go through, but I’m sure I’m going to enjoy every second of it. If anyone takes the time to read this review, please check out the rest of Caramel Column’s games! I’m quite convinced you’ll enjoy them as much as INSECTARIUM! :)

Ok

Lobotomy corporation só que pior 💀

Another fun sci-fi romp

I’ve been a fan of their work for a long time, and this one is no different! It’s shorter than AZNANA (unless I’m missing some secret endgame) but I like it just as much!

Fantastic Experience!

Played ALTER EGO before this, and while I was a bit disappointed by how repetitive AZNANA is, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this one. Saw somewhere that there was another title similar to this, but is apparently delisted so I’ll never know what that was like, but absolutely recommended for people to try out!

Pretty fun

A short but fun little game. I got all the endings in one sitting, but it was fun. I really love the song when you’re investigating.

Коротко, но интересно

Игра только на английском, исследуй аномалии как в лоботоми, пойми что Электроники тебе не друзья
