Basic Bad and out of touch
This app is so useless. If I was the owner of the salon, I would’ve gotten rid of it long time ago. There’s so many things that make it not user-friendly and I feel like they’re just taking peoples money at this point and not putting any effort into making a great product. Reports
As a technician I want to see a full report of what each client was charged and if they they left a tip and how much. I need to double check to make sure the desk didn’t make errors checking out the client.
Useful but can be buggy
App won’t show you your schedule if it’s open too long. Will just show a blank schedule and when you try to log out to restart it won’t let you log out. Says “no token”You have to restart your phone. Now it says a new version is available but when you click ok it sends you to the App Store but only says “Open”. Nothing updates.

Apple Watch
When will Apple Watch compatibility be available ?? I don’t have much time to take my phone out and check appointments would be so much easier on my Apple Watch !!
It doesn’t work when you first open
This is one of the worst software apps I’ve ever worked on. You can’t book out time or break, only create an appointment. They really need someone in the industry working out the kinks. I have to delete the app and then reinstall for it to work 99% of the time. I use my Mac instead of the app when out of the spa.

Could be much better
Very glitchy. When you get prompted to log in everything is ok. Close the app for a few hours and try to check your schedule the schedule is blank. When you try to log out so you can log back in to check your schedule and it says “token expired” and nothing happens. So if you want to check your schedule you have to just wait. Sometimes a few minutes sometimes hours for it to log out just so you can log back in to look at your schedule

Inability to change appointment times
Serious flaw, you cannot modify appointment times or service duration for existing appointments. Yes I know you can search for a new time but the lack of ability to modify service duration makes that almost useless as well as for busy stylists where we often double book.
Horrible
As a salon manager, I use both the app and pc, worst most unreliable program ever. Constant glitches, company does updates without notice so can be in the middle of the business day and will stop functioning, tech support is hit or miss with very little solutions. Stay away.
When it works it’s good
After latest update my app seems to be crashing whenever I try to see my schedule. Please update I have the new iPhone 15 Pro Max
Suggestions
I’m a stylist that works in a salon that has used the software on and off for about 8-10 years. We recently got the app and I have some suggestions. Being able to view my schedule for the week and month and not just the day would be very helpful. Also so far we have found no option to look at sales totals, retail totals, etc for the individual stylists using the app. I can’t seem to find a way to adjust the timing of individual services via the app, not all services for all clients take the standard amount of time. Additionally, if my book is full I cannot seem to add any more appointments, even if I can fit in one during a processing time of a color service, for example.

Good gawd this app is bad
Glitchy
I need this app for work and I’m unable to click into the client’s appointments for notes. When I do this, i get kicked out of the app. Token expires throughout the day so I have to log back in to view the schedule.
No good
Unfortunately I have been with STX since late 90’s I’ve tried other software companies but seem to always go back to STX, HOWEVER, lately I have not been happy with the cloud performance nor the app. Not sure what’s going on with the company because the name has been altered as well? Maybe it has been bought out? Merged with another company but might need to change do to the lack of support, higher cost and just overall bad performance lately?

A Downgrade
The old STX app was way better. This logs me out randomly, saying my “token expired”...so When clients check in it doesn’t notify me. Also needs to be refreshed because it doesn’t automatically show any changes in the schedule. I wish I could edit my appointments from home. Seems like a dinosaur in today’s tech world.

Terrible update
After I updated the app I now can not get into my client profiles! It’s kicks me out of the app! So frustrating, this didn’t happen before. Very disappointed with this update.
