Humble yourself temporarily
I am a Gold top pro and have been most of two years on the app. Managed by negligent, checked-out gig-workers themselves - making mindless, careless, and so unreasonably abrupt decisions to the point of committing fraud on a regular basis. You will be humiliated by this app. You will earn as much as your skills command anywhere else, but have formed no community or network that will benefit you longterm. You will be inundated with ineffective, barely-articulate, condescending, and repetitive AI. You might find yr new plug.

New to App
Since downloading this today, I can see how it is more than possible to make income, there are listings with available jobs, you create your profile that is simple and straight to the point. A lot of money earning apps in general make you jump thru hoops to earn barely anything, more of losing money actually getting hired.

Too many hoops
They ask for more verification than most jobs. You need a reference to verify all your previous jobs. You need a certain photo. They wang you to call an AI bot for 15 minutes. They also ask for a lot of personal information. The jobs they recommended me were over a month in advance.

I think it’s a cool idea! I haven’t tried it yet but I wish they had more cleaning/housekeeping options available.
Awesome company
I like how flexible it is to pick up shifts and all the different company’s you can work for! Also they have jobs that you can get hired on full time which is amazing! Love how easy it is to do everything!
Scam
This app is a scam. You will work full hours and companies will not pay you the full amount. I worked a shift for $155, and only got paid $68. I worked the full shift, and it was reported I worked less than an hour. The app has my location, they have evidence I was there the full shift. A live agent will never respond. This is unethical. Please don’t use this app, not worth it.

Great app and work
Good in theory but horrible support
The option to schedule shifts and pick up work is great as long as you don’t run into any issues where you need assistance from the app. But instawork has got the absolute worst “support” Ive ever dealt with in my life. The AI is very inconsistent on what it can and can’t help you with and if you have to escalate your problem to a human you’re basically screwed. I have been working full time with instawork for about eight months and have never once been able to actually get help from one of the humans that work for them, and if I had not found a few good businesses that make sure I get paid for the shifts I work, I would have left the app.
So I guess I’ll say it’s great in theory, and it has a lot of potential. But the amount of stress over the lack of help when you need it in order to get paid properly is too much to give more than three stars.
