I didn’t download the app nor have i ever used it. But i gave them 1 star in solidarity with the rest of the reviews. BRING BACK THE BREW GUIDE AND TIMER YA WEIRDOS WHY WOULD YOU TAKE AWAY THE BEST PART OF YOUR APP
No Apple Pay
There was a long line but still got my tea quicker than IRL. Having to enter in my credit card details on an iOS device with no autofill is stupid in 2024.
Very disappointed that the brew timer is gone
I can’t believe that the brew timer part of the app was removed. It was one of the best one’s available, and was super helpful when brewing my coffee from Intelligentsia. Please add it back on so I can update thus to 5 stars. Thank you!
Clean up some basics
Advanced ordering is helpful. But entering billing info is not. Consider plugging into iPhone payment functionality and allow Apple Pay. Don’t force the upsell to “add another coffee” if I’m only ordering one coffee. Other food apps have mastered the basics. Not sure why Intelligentsia is trying to recreate the wheels here.

Sign in has been broken for a while
I can log in to browser fine but it defeats the purpose and convenience of this app
Cannot add gift card balance to the app
Disappointed that there is no ability to add a gift card balance to the app. How inconvenient to carry around my gift card wherever I go.
No More Coffee Guide?
Really unfortunate that they did away with the coffee guide functionality. It was the best guide for various forms of coffee brewing I’ve ever seen. An app dedicated solely to ordering is pretty useless.

Developer responses ignore customer
The developer responses ignore customer complaints about the app and instead use the space to direct them to buy coffee through their website.
Terrible app
Can’t login with the same username and password for the website. Try to guest checkout, enter all of my payment information (including full billing address) and then it says guest orders not accepted. Why give the option in the first place? Add Apple Pay!
What a poor decision
Removing the brew guides and timers from your app was a horrible marketing decision. You’ve alienated your core base of customers and sabotaged many future potential customers. I have had guests at my house many times that will observe all my coffee brewing equipment and enjoy drinking and watching coffee brew. They become intrigued and desire to start brewing in similar methods on their own. Your app has ALWAYS been my go to recommendation for a new overwhelmed home brewer, which would inevitably lead them to purchase intelligentsia coffee and products in the future. It was also my go to reference for lesser used methods that are not fresh in my mind. Removing this feature in favor of corporate greed will prove to back fire as a strategy. Not to mention the updated app doesn’t even accept the website log in credentials rendering it completely useless. I have deleted the app, and will not return as a customer. What a mistake…

Bring back the brew guide PLEASE
Used the brew timer near daily for years. Wild that it was done away with so hastily. Why not offer the brew guide as a second app?? Certainly shifted my opinion of the organization.

Bring back the coffee timer
This app had the best coffee timer and brew guide. I used it to learn at least three brewers and help improve my coffee making skills. It was well thought out and not complicated. Please bring it back.

Worthless now
Now a worthless app. Used to use this to brew my coffee everyday. They forced an upgrade and now I cannot use the app because they did away with that portion of the app. Easy choice now to never order another bag of coffee from these guys.
No More Brew Guide :(
I used this app everyday for it’s brew guide and timer feature for my Chemex. It was so easy to use, I loved it! With the new update they did away with the brew guide and timer. They don’t have a coffee shop local to me either which makes the app completely useless to me now. Deleting…Please bring back the brew timer!
