Phishing app, DON’T FALL FOR THEIR SCAM
At first was working fine, despite the inconsistent connection and signal hey at least it’s good if you’re constantly travelling and want to save on phone services. But since a few days ago this just became unavailable for some reasons, no internet at all and unable to be activated. And the stress it caused, travelling in a foreign country only find out after landing that theres no internet connection! I tried to contact customer service for solution or refund and they never responded. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!

Perfect to phone home
I regularly travel for work to places where not possible to use normal mobile phone services. Offshore Africa on an oil rig which luckily has excellent WiFi. Wife does not use WhatsApp so perfect for talking to her.

No sound 75% of the time
Yolla only seems to work okay if you get connected to whoever you’re calling immediately. If you are out on hold, like it happens frequently with banks, insurance companies etc, 100 percent of the time the person on the other end can’t hear you. I’ve tried it multiple times, with different countries. It’s infuriating to spend 25 minutes on hold and then have the person hang up on you when they can’t hear you.

Great
This worked perfectly when I needed to place a call to my bank in Canada, while is was on holiday in from Europe. I spent 15 minutes on hold from my bank. Once they answered, it worked perfectly. No dropped calls and they could hear me well, and vice versa.

Misleading advertising
The ad says there’s a free credit for new customers, which is misleading and false information. So then I bought some credit and tried to call Indian phone numbers. It never worked for any landline numbers. Upon contacting the customer service they asked me to wait for few hours and try again later. Anyone thinking about this app, don’t even bother, it’s not going to work.

Звонки в турцию работают через впн
С использованием впн прекрасно дозвонился до турецкого номера поддержки банка. Связь была отличная, без задержек, без прерываний. Стоимость составила 0,34$ за 7 минут. Буду пользоваться дальше.
