Blocage sur le jeu
Bonjour,
Le jeu est très sympa, j’aime beaucoup, mais …
Je joue Inua sur mon Ipad : je suis bloquée au chapitre ou les trois abattent un arbre ….
Les réponses vues ne disparaissent pas : je les retrouve à chaque fois et je ne peux pas progresser dans le jeu.
Je suis sur Ipad pro 2ème génération, IOS 17.7.10

Beginn stark, Ende schwach bis sogar enttäuschend
Ein sehr schönes und liebevolles Spiel aber leider gibt es Abzug wegen der Story. Zu Beginn noch spannend erzählt, flacht diese jedoch sehr schnell ab. Am Ende ist es sogar nur noch unangenehm, weil sich alle Figuren anschreien und komplett unrealistisch verhalten. Ich verstehe das die Figuren einen Wandel durchmachen sollen aber die Schnelligkeit des Wandels ist viel zu schnell, sodass man nicht mehr mitkommt, was da eigentlich abgeht. Zumal die Beweggründe,wenn sie denn mal genannt werden, an den Haaren herbeigezogen sind. Am Ende findet man nur jede Figur unsympathisch und geht unzufrieden aus dem Spiel raus. Die Message des Spiels klingt auch eher hohl, das man sich nicht verhalten soll wie ein Ekel sollte jedem Menschen klar sein. Ich finde es sehr schade. Man hätte wirklich ein richtig spannendes Spiel draus machen können.

Graphic novel, good art, weak characters
I downloaded Inua before a long weekend cabin stay because the art style and themes looked like my aesthetic. I enjoyed most of the storyline but found the game ultimately disappointing.
Let’s start at value for money. When compared to titles like Life is Strange and the original Oxenfree, Inua seriously lacks in play time per dollar. Even more when you factor in how much richer the interactivity, plot complexity, and especially character development these other games are.
The characters in Inua are extremely one-dimensional and have no growth throughout the game. The gameplay is more of a graphic novel than a game, since you just click objects on screen to unlock more thoughts and dialogue between the smattering of side characters in a completely deterministic fashion. Which is fine, but not for the quality of dialogue you get.
It felt like the writers had a cool idea for a story and the characters were flat and empty vessels to mechanically carry that story forward. The voice actors were mixed but with the writing as bad as it was it doesn’t matter how good they were or weren’t.
Again, I liked the setting a lot, I thought the art was beautifully minimalist while still giving rich color and texture, the music was ethereal and added to the overall feel, and the story setup was super intriguing. Unfortunately, they couldn’t deliver on the promise of the story, and without spoiling the end for future players, it ended anticlimactically with some noble savage ancient earth wisdom theme that felt tone deaf at best and mildly racist at worst.
Overall, this might be worth it for you if you don’t have an attachment to your $5, and want a graphic novel to walk you through a beautiful world where the story is secondary and the characters are less than tertiary.

not too long nor too short & quite interactive without it being too challenging to figure out what to do to progress the story

Great game!
I love this game and I think it was totally worth the money! There are a lot of mysteries that you can solve and I love that you can interact with things and people. There are some mysteries that are really hard to solve, but I think that is what makes it fun. I wasn't having any problems with the gameplay, and I wasn’t experiencing any lag or bugs that need to be fixed at all! I love the soundtrack, and I think it goes perfectly with the game. I also love the story behind all of the mysteries.

The ending makes no sense
Sure, good graphics and innovative decision-based progression and all that, but I don't understand the ending at all.
What is that symbol? What happened when they crossed the lake? Why and how are they transported to wherever the ending is supposed to depict? Are they supposed to be dead? How? What am I supposed to take away from this story? The bear thinks she's should make things right, but how did the ending made anything right?
I'm confused by the story. The ending is really unsatisfactory.

Great really I just kind of wish there was an ending:))
Incredible art, excellent story-telling
I had saved this game for a long flight with no wifi and had no idea how entranced I would be. What incredible illustrations! What innovative gameplay! What a dark but important story!
Truly, this game should have gotten many rewards. Yes the "gameplay" is really just a mechanism to tell the story, but it does so in a way that I have never encountered before. So many apps are just bad copies of each other: there are few as innovative as this one.
Well done, I hope to see more work from this company. Thanks for making the game!

Original et intéressant
J’aime bien cette nouvelle manière de raconter des histoires. On apprend des choses en s’amusant. Pas d’action dans ce jeu, mais beaucoup de dialogues enrobés dans une belle interface. Bravo !

Hoffe, dass das nur ein Bug ist. Aber bei mir gibt’s keine Soundausgabe. Ohne Sound werde ich das nicht anfangen zu Spielen.

More of a story than a game
It’s a beautiful story, but not really a game.
Absolutely phenomenal game!
The game itself is a masterful blend of history and myth to tell a tale outside of the bounds of time. The game element of entering people’s minds and hearing their thoughts progressed the story in a thoughtful, free, and inductive way.
It played very well on my iPhone 13 and the stunning visuals were showcased beautifully. The auto-save function was convenient and kept the game feeling immersive.
I would 100% recommend this game if you like interesting stories and stupendous visuals.

until it stopped working on level six
Fun narrative, but woke
I had previously given the game 5 stars based on initial reaction. Reducing it to 3 stars because the game is starting to display woke narratives: “not just another colonial myth”…so Blaise, does anyone have anything original to say anymore?
Speculating the dialog was written by a “we live in a patriarchy” feminist, all of the male characters are rude and incompetent, while the female characters are really running the show while politely tolerating the incompetence of the men. Will possibly reduce rating further if SJW propaganda continues.

Wonderfull game
It really is a beautifully crafted game! Story seems compelling and the mechanics are quite smart to just discover it at a good pace. A very cosy game too. I recommend it to narrative game lovers.
