App not compatible anymore
It worked great when I had an iPhone7+. Does not work with an iPhone XS Max or iPhone 12. Needs an update if possible
So helpful
This app has been great for a quick vocab reference. Lately the “Learn the Basics” section is crashing for me, though.
Glitch
It keeps sending me out of the app when I click on learn the basics
Lots of errors
The app glitches and crashes a lot
Great only
Love the app, would be awesome if you could hear how to pronounce the words
Helpful
Awesome! However, when I click the option to learn the basics, the app crashes. Really hoping to learn more of my native language. It would also help if there was help pronouncing the Iñupiat words, considering the fact Alaska Native languages are almost obsolete.
Yay!
You’re still updating! I got nervous for a minute. This app is awesome
I LOVE THIS APP..Pls update
I love using this app! Constantly opening it up and looking up spelling and words with my daughter. I just updated my iPhone to and found out this app is not compatible with the new update. Would really appreciate if the app can be updated so I can continue to use it. I see on the App Store there are other Iñupiat languages apps however, they are Nana Region and would prefer to utilize the Northern dialect.

Helping preserve the language!
This is an amazing resource! I have recently moved out of Alaska after being born there, and have used this app for years. It now helps me feel closer to home- please update for the new IOS!
Needs an update
I love this app and the whole idea/concept but it seriously needs an update. It has a few bugs.
Great
I think this app is awesome. It would be great to have audio demonstrating pronunciation. Also, need an app for the Kobuk dialect!
Excellent language app
I love this. I grew up in rural Alaska on the Seward Peninsula; I now live in Michigan. I love piecing together the words, but would love to hear the words out loud for better pronunciation. I also think a great thing to add to the app would be images for some of the words. I am hopeful to see more in the future! Qu'yaana!

Teaching my kids
Love this app, it's great. Only way to make it better is to have a way to hear the word out loud. Please work on adding this feature even if it cost $$$. I would buy it. Using it to kids my grandchildren I am raising about their heritage language so they can be proud of where they come. Thank you for this wonderful app.

It won't let me open this app an closes before it opens for me on my iPhone 4S.
Great idea but wish it worked on my iPhone 4S.
Not the best but it's the only one ... :/
Well it's missing some of the basic words. And the spellings are wrong on some of the words but I'm from noorvik and in some other villages spell and say things differently soo ....
Great app
Thank you for a great app. Very valuable for me and my children. Thanks again. Keep the updates coming. (Has started crashing after recent update - please fix xx)
What an unexpected surprise! What a gift!
I hope my region will create something similar to this with the Kobuk River Dialect. I hope the producers of this app will continue to expand their efforts, but I am simply thankful for what they have done so far. The purpose is to encourage the learning of the language and I do feel that this app meets that purpose. I like that they provide an example in a sentence. I hope that they look into creating/expanding this to allow more learning. I would love an audio recording of the words. And perhaps a basic description of the endings to match the subject.
Anyway, you have done a great service in creating this app! Kudos to you!
Hmmm, just noticed on the screen shot above that there is an Audio Sample option, but, I have not seen on my app on my iPhone. I just looked up the specific word on the screenshot, and yes, it did have the audio sample. So, some words do have an accompanying audio sample, but not all. Thank you again to the creators of this app!

Should not be used as a language tool.
This app constantly has problems updating for me. Even in the rare occasion is does work it is a very generalized translation with many grammatical errors.
Was so excited...
I installed this on my iPad2 and was very excited at the idea of having this! After several installs and deletions, this app continues to crash never allowing me past the "updating" screen. I hope you can get this fixed soon!
Iñupiaq
Waqaa, Wiinga Inupiatun Cakataar, or Yugtun Cakataar. I am ethnically Yup'ik but this app is great. I see so many words I already know o.0 ¥¥ but anyways download you won't regret (: puigaa
