Invoice Manager

This update restores records that were not showing up, fixes an issue where the app could stop responding while syncing, and corrects several amounts shown on invoices. YOUR MISSING RECORDS COME BACK If your Services & Offerings list was empty, or invoices you knew you had were not in the list, this update brings them back. Your data was always safe on our servers — the app was unable to read certain records. It now can, and it refreshes everything once when you first open it. Nothing for you to do. THE APP NO LONGER STOPS RESPONDING WHILE SYNCING Some people found the app would freeze and need to be force-closed, usually while data was syncing. That is fixed. Syncing is also considerably faster — what could take several minutes now takes under a minute. INVOICES SHOW WHAT HAS BEEN PAID When a customer pays part of an invoice, the invoice you send them now shows the amount paid and the balance still due. Previously, a part-paid invoice looked identical to an unpaid one, so customers had no way to see their payment had been received. This works across all 19 designs. CORRECT AMOUNTS AND CURRENCIES • Amounts now use your own currency everywhere. Some screens always showed dollars regardless of your setting. • Contact balances now match the invoices behind them. • Totals are rounded to real, chargeable amounts — no more figures with a fraction of a cent. • Distances on invoices now use the same unit shown in the app. If you work in kilometres, a new invoice will show kilometres where it previously said miles. The amount charged was always correct; only the label was wrong. GET PAID Invoices created from Get Paid now carry your real business details, list your existing customers to choose from, apply your tax rate, use your normal invoice numbering, and can be saved. SMALLER FIXES • Your business name now stays changed after you rename it. • New invoices appear in the list straight away. • Recording a payment is easier to reach. • The create button now offers the right actions for the screen you are on. • Resetting your modules asks first. • Corrected French wording in several places.
