Doesn’t work

I saw a friend playing and thought that it looked like a pretty fun game. Asked my parents for months get the game just to se that I can’t login. I didn’t immediately give up though, I reset the game logged in at least 5 times even deleted the app and redownloaded it and nothing worked. But I still decided to keep it downloaded in case it starts working and then I realize that I can just ask my friend how he logged in…

My friend tells me that the game doesn’t work any more and shows me. He logs on and we see the normal loading screen for .02 seconds I immediately go on the App Store and get a different investing game

Love the contests!

I love this app because it allows me to simulate my options trades onto the fantasy finance game & then if I am able to get a high % return I am ranked and awarded for being in the top 10 within 3 leaderboards.

It also has modules to teach you to trade if that is something you need and best of all they give you $1,000,000 initially so that you can make huge trades within the assets you are interested in.

Outstanding customer service

I have been using Invstr for about 2 years and have to say that the customer service received when there has been an issue has been awesome
James is the person who has reached out to me when there has been an issue is thorough and delivers on what he says he is going to do
It would be great if there were no issues but where in the world do you find a product or service that does not have the occasional glitch
Thankfully Invstr has James who has resolved the issues I have run across

Customer service made simple

I rarely leave reviews for anything and I was really confused about how to start investing for myself and for my child’s future. I’ve had the pleasure to work with James Mitchell and he explained everything and anything I had questions about. Loving it!

Great app for beginners like myself. That being said, there have been some parts that I need a little more assistance. I was lucky to receive help from James Mitchell and he was simply amazing. The information provided is pretty simple but for someone like me who is fairly new to the investing world some areas need to broken down and James did just that. He definitely is knowledgeable not only about the app but finances, banking, and investing in general. Yes there are different aspects that could be better, but no app is perfect and honestly this has been the best I’ve found thus far. It’s just a major plus to have an app with employees, such as James, who clearly love what they do and are happy to help others - very rare these days. Happy investing everyone! Check it out!

Premium ruined the app for me.

This morning I went to check my stocks as usual. I went to see the details of the company, particularly the news of the day regarding Microsoft, P&G, etcetera.

However, I was met with a paywall. I had no access to any of the information I used before to trade my stocks and frankly, it made the app a turn off for me. I sold everything I had and will be withdrawing my money. The learning aspects of this app are wonderful, but after teaching us to think, use the information given to us and to pay attention to the market, they took away the tools in their app that we used while they already get to invest our money elsewhere as well.

Also had a long term issue with being able to withdraw from the account; took three weeks to get any money out of there.

Those two things sullied my otherwise un-bothered experience.

You can play, learn, interact and practice on Fantasy Finance and still see the basic graphs of any instrument you have on your watchlist. To enhance your experience and have access to more technical information about the instruments you need a subscription. Our subscriptions are varied and affordable for those who want to take things further (for just $3.99 a month or 13 cents a day). Please write to us at info@invstr.com if you have suggestions to make the app even better for everyone. Regarding the delay to withdraw the money from your account, we apologize for this. Please write to us at supportplus@invstr.com with more details so we can investigate why it took longer than usual. We value all of our customers and your feedback is appreciated.

Terrible platform

This app doesn’t let you send and recieve BtC or crypto. You have a wallet but it only will store the currency. If you recieve a reward; invstr+ will not give you what you earned from them for at least 10 days. Once recieved; the newly acquired reward can’t be removed or withdrawn for 30 days. Not to mention this platform will permit instant deposits; however, if you use the instant the deposit- the investment will be pending for at least 10 days. For example, they recieve the actual transfer and then don’t reward you until it “settles” 5 days later. What’s with you old timers and stock market trade rules..? Don’t y’all understand that life is 24/7 and finance needs to be also- that’s why crypto is going to take over the stock market. Eventually companies that offer “stocks” will develope a coin and get on with their lives keeping the government out of their financial pictures…. Duh

Jr Investing

Cool investment app for teaching kids the value of chores and saving money long term. I enjoy the easy stock buying options, the tons of information the company provides for novice investors like me. A solid feature is the investment data that ranks your stocks and risk level! I would recommend getting and investing with INVSTR.

Great app for beginners

This is a great app if you’re new to investing or don’t know anything about it. I’ve learned a ton from this app, especially the academy and then practicing in fantasy finance. I highly recommend it for anyone who’s trying to test the waters of investing!

Constant bugs

The app is cool to learn about investing, but there are so so many bugs as I try to work through the modules. I can’t even get through 2 without it saying I haven’t completed the prerequisites, or that I don’t have a good internet connection (even though it’s full strength signal). I have to delete the app and re login multiple times a day. I am about to just give up on this app.

Full of bugs…

I’ve been using Invstr for around a month now and have made some progress with the learning modules. At around the 4th one, I failed the quiz initially but passed on the second try. Even with a passing score I’m unable to move onto the next module and it continually prompts me with an error saying that it’s unable to sync my progress. I tried deleting the app and logging back in to see if that would fix anything but now I can’t log in. When I try to log in with google oauth, it says that it’s unable to sign me in with Facebook even though I’m trying to sign in with google…

Educational and fun!

This is the best app out there four paper trading/investing. Very realistic and you can join fun leagues. You can make it very educational and have fun meeting other investors and learning from them.
I have learned from others and this has helped me increase profits in my real life accounts.

Adding funds is way way too difficult

I have used many many investment apps and brokerages. I have NEVER seen one like this. You can’t just deposit funds. Even if you link your bank account. You have to go to the banks website and manually send funds to a routing and account number they provide. But websites need more information than this to send money. Name, address, etc. they don’t provide that information. I’m blown away by this deposit method. I won’t be using this app because I’m not able to add funds to it. I would say this is the most important feature of any investment app. How easy it is to add and withdraw funds. This app is the worst by strides and bounds. Unacceptable, really. Pick literally any other investment app. If the developers are reading this, you need to fix the deposit situation.

Great App!!!!!

There are a few trading apps that I am utilizing to gain knowledge about the market and trading. This app is one of the best. It has the stocks broken down for you, information is collected on each and charts that are easy to read and follow are provided, and the simulation is outstanding. I have learned so much as I work my way through this experience. The app would get ten stars if I could give it but I can only give five. With the opportunity to earn real money you can’t go wrong using this app. I appreciate the experience because not everyone can afford formal education and this is a very good way to DIY trading

I tried doing the survey and I accidentally exited out. I figured just leave the comment here. Well, so far I like it. The dashboard and options it has to offer. The color scheme that helps beginners like me with navigation and Boredom. Also the money tab is great, the simplicity of the top tabs in this order; [Checking - Savings - Crypto - Brokerage]
Makes a beginner like me start looking at the right things. If your new like me, Make sure you read because a lot of these options are for professionals.
Note: The main goal of any bitcoin exchange platform is to facilitate the transfer from and to physical currency to and from digital currencies such as bitcoin.

Great App!

People use this app for a lot of different reasons and both fantasy invest as well as real life. I was initially roped into a league by a friend who has long since lost interest, but am in a few other leagues with strangers. I stuck around because the community is great. The founders are very involved and users are willing to generously share their knowledge and experience with investing. I personally don’t have a lot of time to put into investing, but I think it’s a great platform if you would like to get some low risk experience before becoming a real life day trader or swing trader. Even if you are a long time holder, sometimes it’s good to get a reality check on those red days.

They make it so u can’t cancel

They automatically gave me one month free of the pro+ upgrade when I downloaded the app. It will be 3.99 after. You can’t cancel thru the app, you need to call. When you call u get a recording that says to press 1 to leave a message about why you’re calling and they’ll call you back. Except when u press one it just plays the same message over again. There’s no way to cancel 😡

Buggy, Unusable App

Signed up and it said I was approved, but it froze when I tried to connect via Plaid. Now when I open the app, it takes me to a blank screen that says “Label” and has a blue button at the bottom. When I click it, it takes me back to Plaid and shows my checking account already connected. If I try to use the back arrow, it takes me to a totally blank screen.

Just getting started

Originally, I went to fund my account but I never saw the funds arrive and contacted support. Then I found out that I mistakenly funded an account with Crypto. App support was more on the ball than I originally thought, so I’m revising my rating up for now.
