Horrible Interface
The interface is atrocious. The login is extremely annoying, it acts like it’s using Face ID, gives the check mark like it worked, but then still requires you to manually type your full email and password every time. Also logs you out after 5 minutes. I’m currently deleting the app and re-downloading it to see if it fixes itself. For nearly a month now, anytime I log into the app, it doesn’t show lines for any sport, it just says “Something went wrong.”

Land of fake promos
I jumped through their hoops in hopes of getting their “fred bucks” and they don’t give up anything even after dealing with their customer service team. Bettors beware. They will take your money and will not give you any rewards even though you uphold your end of the bargain. I guess that’s why the casinos always win, they feel they have a secured sense of power. But I am here to tell you, this app is buggy, never works, and is probably the reason why the promos don’t work properly. Terrible customer service. I love how they are telling me to reach out to customer service when I already did. Thanks though..

Not worth the sign-up bonus
BetFred attempts to hold your money hostage as they cite “errors” between them and Visa. You also receive an error message if you attempt to withdraw money via check. I had to call and speak with a representative in order to get my money transferred out of my account. They did expedite the check quickly, but no other sports book has had this issue. Don’t download this app - the juice is definitely not worth the squeeze.

Strong to quite strong!
Great App and Desktop platform. Odds and offerings are in line with expectations and are competitive with the rest of the market place. The customer service has been great thus far, which is a breath of fresh air considering what I’ve personally experienced with their competitors. Issues and concerns can come with any book. What separates them from their larger competitors in the marketplace is a solid customer service platform with a well trained staff. Something I feel is lacking on other larger US books. Live chat is with an actual human being and not a bot. This is extremely helpful if you have a time sensitive issue or a have a pointed question that needs attention. You don’t get the feeling that a customer service representative is kicking the can down the road when you have questions. Take notes: DK and FD. Also, due to my proximity to the Mississippi River, I’ve had issues with Geolocation with other books. BetFreds geolocation software has done a solid job of locating me correctly in Iowa, even though I’m less than 20 yards from the Mississippi River boarder which acts as the divider between Iowa and Illinois.
