Outstanding support — saved my licence in minutes
This app has been rock solid for me, but what really impressed me was the support. An App Store change broke my licence out of nowhere, and I braced for the usual back-and-forth. Instead, Trystero fixed it almost immediately — no hassle, no runaround, just a quick and complete resolution. That kind of responsiveness is rare. It's clear the developer actually cares about getting things right for users, not just shipping features. Genuinely impressed, and it's made me trust the app even more. Highly recommend — five stars, easily.

Free Version is too limited
The Free version is so limited that it is hard to see the value in paying for the upgrade.

Seriously… Now you limit to 28 the number of devices your freebee scans? I’m removing it from my system to avoid frustrations.
Best little sniffer
I am so glad I got this - found a little sneaky little computer that a programmer had changing IPs every minute to hide the thing. Exported a few scans to a spreadsheet and did a compare for each row and discovered it. Got my lunch paid for.

This app works insanely well. No ads, no pushing you to subscribe to premium, just a tool that detects devices in your local network. Perfect for people like me that work a lot with raspberry Pi’s.

No trial
Probably would have bought it if it had a full capability trial period. As it is it’s paywalled right from the start and no way to evaluate it completely. So I deleted it.
Misleading and Incomplete Results
App does not display accurate information as shown in App Store. No MAC Address is displayed and the manufacturer title shows the number of seconds it was updated. Useless app at best

NICE TO SEE AND KNOW WHAT’S ON NETWORK
I downloaded the trial version just to see how IP SCANNER worked. It gave me a quick snapshot of most of my network, and presented it in a grid format which I found recognizable. I upgraded to the full version and saw I had a lot more devices than I realized on my home network…DOESN’T EVERYBODY?? I also found a couple of items I still trying to track down. But it is also nice to know that if someone else is ti=riding on my track I can ‘see them’. Very happy!

15 device limit
the 15 device free version limit is not enough in modern times when you have multiple mobile devices, printer, desktop, laptop, security camera and so on. but when you do have less than 16 devices is a really nice app. however out of principle i never pay for software hence the three star.
