Works well, but
Installation, configuration and usage is super straightforward. However the only thing missing is an option to use higher quality levels than 1920x1080. I know the camera on the newer phones is able to take 4K footage if only at a slow fps

This is so close to a 5 star app and to be fair it does do what the developer claims, and does it well. Well worth downloading.

The main reason for not getting 5 stars is because of the auto rotation feature, and the inability to switch it off. Very few camera viewer applications are able handle aspect ratio changes on the fly so this feature could also be classed as a bug that renders this app unusable in the real world. Using a mobile phone as a camera source is because we need it to be mobile :)

Works great with Zoneminder
Had an old iPhone 5 I wanted to add to my Zoneminder system. This worked great. Just need to add /video.mjpg as remote host path. Also recommend adding an ID and password.
I set it to largest size which gave me a 1920x1080 image in ZM.

Only one issue.
I sat down for hours trying to figure out the best way to set up my iPhone and iPad as wireless cameras for a twitch stream. I had heard of a couple of $5 apps, and was willing to pay to make this work. I found that every app I had come across was difficult. You had to install software on the computer, and it was really unreliable.. crashing, showing blank video, or locking up completely. Getting the stream set up each time would require loading up multiple programs, and resetting my scene. (Each of these apps only allowed one device)
I almost didn't jump in on this app because it was paid only. They should offer a free stamped/low quality version to try out.. but that's not the issue I had with it. This app is browser based, and because each device is given a link based off its IP, you can have multiple websites. You have a decent amount of settings you can play with for video feed quality, and once you set up your scene for the first time, all you have to do is launch the app on the devices and they automatically pulled up on the stream. Fantastic.
My issue: There is no way to lock or set orientation to landscape. If you tilt the phone sideways it will go to landscape, but if you try to set the phone flat, or even remotely close to flat, it will pop back to portrait. And there's nothing on the phone itself that shows whether it's portrait or landscape. I had to open the website and watch. I'm trying to do an overhead shot of a table, and this may not work for it if I can't figure this out or dev doesn't fix this issue. Maybe I can portrait lock it and see if I can manually turn the video feed in twitch 90 degrees.. that's another day I suppose.

Excellent tool!
Does not require any additional software on the browser. Flexible enough for any stream capture client. Exactly what I was looking for.
Good exempt for Port bug
Simple to set up and use for an internal network but not quite ready for Internet access. The port bug means it always reverts to port 80 no matter what it was set to; image size goes tiny/small/huge skipping the more common 1280x760 option.
Good options regards the types of feed. On the request list would be an option to ftp image to a site would be good, along with an option to overlay more than just the date.

Works well with the old iPhone 3GS.
With the iPhone 5S a picture is shown in the browser, big the Buttons Options and Advanced are not accessible.

A SCAM
I have tried to make this work as advertised with its parent product iCamSource Pro on two separate and completely open local networks. It just plain does not work. It's a scam. Save your money.
Doesn't work with iOS 9.2
Worked great before iOS 9. Upgraded to iOS 9.2 and ipcam will no longer load. Totally useless. Needs an update or a refund.

if you’re considering buying this: don’t! the last update to it was 4 years ago. it crashes immediately upon startup. obsolete apps like this should be forcibly removed from the app store and the developer should be forced to return any money he received beyond a certain point in time.
