RIP ipyde

New version is broken in many ways.

Existing scripts don’t run, not just because of switch to python 3, but runner is broken.

Can’t figure out the cryptic new UI, and no documentation, so could not edit files to debug.

Final insult is that it switches to a pay screen after a few uses, and “Restore” button doesn’t work.

Link to customer support is broken.

A pity, would be fine with paying to have the old functionality back.

Great except input

Exactly what I needed to get me coding instead of playing games on my phone. I was having some trouble with input() where the only input that wouldn’t error is numbers, but figured out that ‘’ (two single quotes) also works and is distinguishable from the numbers. Now I can ask for input, with the specific instructions that ‘’ means no and any numeral means no.

You guys can’t implement a tab button?

Do I really need to hit the space bar 4 times every time?

Modules

The app is great and all, but can I use modules and if I can, what are they?

Good enough, unreliable

I had just finished writing my (thankfully simple) program. I decided it was worth the 99 cents to finally upgrade, cancelled momentarily bc i didnt want to get up for my card. I reopen the app and my program isnt opening
