Love everything but the AI 🤮
Love the variety of shows I don’t mind paying for a streaming service. Don’t know why people complain about that so much obviously actors, directors, writers, etc. need to be paid. I could so do without the AI every time I accidentally click on one 🤮😡🤢😤
AUTOPLAY IS ANNOYING
I don’t know why this app is like this, but whenever I click on a show instead of leading me to its info page, it just starts playing the show right away and it’s really annoying to me and I don’t know why they have this as a base feature. Sometimes I just wanna click on a show and see what it’s about before it starts playing. It can also mess up where I’m at in a show. If it hasn’t been updated yet. My history also gets crowded with a bunch of useless stuff just because I was trying to figure out what I wanted to watch. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I honestly cannot stand this feature. I wish I had the option to at least turn it off. Also, ads whenever I pause as a paying member is really not it.

Love it but cannot comment anymore??
I love this app because it has sooooo many of the Asian dramas I love. Kdramas, cdramas, jdramas and sooooooo many BL dramas!! BUT in the last few months haven’t been able to comment on videos. This is kinda important to me because I’m the only one in my family who watches Asian dramas (well, one of my daughters loves watching anime) and I neeeeed to talk to other people about what I’ve just watched!! I don’t want to constantly have to run to Reddit or mdl to talk about it. Anyway, pleeeease fix it. And yes I’ve tried deleting the cache, logging out and back in again, deleting and reinstalling the app, making sure app was up to date etc, but it doesn’t workkkkkkk

Bad experience

VIP Premium has Ads
Disappointed as the VIP Premium account still has ads!! Most people, like myself, got the vip premium to watch ad free not even pop-up! Disappointed.
A honest review
I don’t know how this app is so highly rated? There’s too many problems that it’s weird. The subtitles don’t always work. Some shows don’t have any subtitles. The app on my tv doesn’t play subtitles at all so I have to screen cast but then the app doesn’t remember what episode I left off on. Sometimes when trying to play the next episode, it plays the previous episode. That’s pretty annoying too. Every time I screen cast, it pops up an ad to download the iqiyi tv app and that’s also annoying. The tv app doesn’t work properly, stop recommending it. The only reason this is a two star review is because there are some good shows on the app. I don’t understand why they spend so much time programming bots to leave good reviews when that time and energy would be better used fixing the app.

A good app that could be better
I have iQIYI, Viki and YOUKU. Of the three I’ve felt that iQIYI was the best platform to watch Asian programs on. iQIYI has the “Express” package allowing you to watch the final episodes before they’re released. You can also download more episodes of shows, which is great when you travel. Lately, the Express Package hasn’t been as good as in the past. Legend of a Female General and Pursuit of Jade were included. Love Has Fireworks wasn’t included. The Legend of Rosy Clouds was released with subtitles in Simplified Chinese. I’m not sure that Premium VIP is worth the extra price.

They have some really good ,popular dramas on the app but overall the app is horrible, tell me why we need to pay to watch a freakin show your settings lacks agangment I need vip or subscription To watch literally anything why make everything so complicated just make them free or run with ads at least I would not recommend this app I'm sorry pup

They only care about your money, AirPlay integration is messy at best
They want you to shell out for a service that doesn’t even give you subtitles in the standard version, and doesn’t allow you to use AirPlay for more than 5 minutes without asking you to upgrade to a version that is VIP version that is $8/week. Atrocious. Don’t waste your time or money with this app.

Glitchy
Update: app is still glitchy and driving me crazy! Will not advance to the next episode on Smart TV. Crashes often. So many issues ugh! Dropping a star.
I want to love the app because the content is excellent but the app is glitchy. 1. Sometimes the app cuts off the last 5-10 minutes so you’re left not knowing what happens in your series! 2. I’m attempting to watch Dual Stars and it refuses to actually show the series and kicks back to the home page. So frustrating! 3. Subtitles need improvement.

When are you going to air this film here in the US? You advertised that it’ll be aired 6/15/2026 but I still can’t watch it! That’s a false advertisement!
IQYI’s inability to make most popular Chinese dramas inaccessible to watch despite being a premium subscriber is so low. It’s a total disappointment that you can’t even provide that to me & other international subscribers! It’s quite devastating paying premium and yet you’re shortchanging me for not able to watch NEVER ENDING SUMMER as you advertised in the timeline you posted!
