The Login Problem
I Love this app and would really love to watch the great shows on the app on my TV but the login in is so tragically annoying. A QR code that you could scan with your phone, at this point an email… anything would be better than the current logging process when you can’t just use your Apple sign in.

Too much drama with similar titles and contents makes it confusing. Keep one title and allow viewers to use the desired translation with an excellent font and size choices.
Add “ALL” Chinese and Kdrama in 4K format and market your 4K to real drama fans. Viki is incapable of making a 4K format!

Ugh
This is messy and confusing. If you download in phone and want to airplay you won’t have subtitles. If you try to log into tv app it is also problematic. Frustrating!
Used to love now ads
Pay for vip?! Dont waste your money you will get ads regardless and tiny little popups while watching. This app has turned to spam.
Don’t listen to the bozos
This app is terrible! I love a few of the shows they have up so I thought I would get the app in an effort to help support the industry. The people who made this app don’t deserve a paycheck.
First of all, I downloaded the app to my smart tv. I can’t use it though because the subtitles don’t work at all for the tv app.
Okay, cool. I’ll just screencast. That’s an option. I pay for the version with no ads but when I screencast, there are ads and pop ups. Pop ups in a streaming service app? That’s weird. There’s an ad every time I open the app, but again I pay for no ads.
Also, the quality of the video goes down screencasting? That doesn’t happen on the Zeus Network app? I would think it would be the other way around.
Screencasting also glitches and will start playing the wrong episode out of no where? Like my phone says episode 186 is playing but the tv is playing episode 183. And it makes it super complicated to get onto the right episode.
Moving past all that, the app itself isn’t user friendly. It’s not super complex to navigate the app, but it’s not as organized as something like Crunchyroll. The way the genres are split up and categorized is dumb. Not every show has the time schedule attached but some do. Like that just seems lazy.
A few of the shows have poorly translated subtitles. Some are so bad that the English makes my brain hurt. So I feel like it’s a rip off even though it’s pretty cheap.
I think most of the positive reviews are from bots and people who only watch a couple (not many) shows on the app. Don’t believe them. There’s more problems than I listed, these were just the ones that PMO the most.

Not the way it’s advertised
There are many shows that are labeled and advertised as “free to watch” and are around the Internet labeled as free, but then when you try to watch the show, like for example Never Ending Summer, you can only watch the first two episodes and then are forced to pay for standard subscription instead of it being “free” like it was labeled.

Great for watch Thailand dramas
I payed for the VIP version as I wanted to watch Thai dramas and am loving the app. With VIP version I can watch full series with no ads. Hardly any buffering when I watch things. Skipping backwards and forwards are not a problem and watching shows on 2x speed works perfectly. When I search up for the show I want it always comes up and I can add shows to my list. This means I can see what I’m watching currently and what’s coming soon.

Need imrovement
Some features need to be improved, for example, the app on TV doesn’t allow you choose audio and subtitles. Also I can’t find lots of trending/ new shows on here….
Chinese dramas app
Love that I can access my Chinese dramas easily through the app. The search is a bit tedious and I’d love the algorithm to suggest me more dramas based on my search. Also the UX could be improved as categories are limited when browsing to find something new to watch
Terrible app
Cannot cast subtitles onto TV so have to watch on phone or iPad. Motion is jerky. Will not renew after this year.
Would be nice to have dual language subs

It has lots of shows but a lot are mostly vip but theres also free c drama and there so good and there’s also ads but if ur a vip u won’t get ads i love it

진짜 뭐 하자는건가요? 저일초과화 때문에 어플 다운 받고 중국에서 저일초과화 보고 싶어서 7월,8월달에 나온다는 카더라 하나 보고 7월 3일에 중국 왔어요. 정확한 날짜를 모르니까 5주 어학연수로 왔어요. 중국어 하나도 모르는데 여기 있을 명분이 필요해서 왔어요. 3주면 기간 애매하니까 제일 긴 5주로 왔어요. 저도 개강하니까 그래서 여기서 상하이에서 이렇게 기다리는데 하루 전날 저일초과화 한국에서는 나중에 공개 된다는게 무슨 소리인가요? 제가 왜 상하이에 온 이유도 민국시대 상하이가 유명하다길래 왔어요 근데 지금 뭐 하자는 건가요? 작년 7월 8일에 저일초과화 처음 알고 작년 7월 14일부터 나오지도 않은 저일초과화만 기다리고 좋아했는데 무슨 짓인가요???? 제발 일주일 안으로 가져오길 바랍니다 진심 욕 나와요.

Love everything but the AI 🤮
Love the variety of shows I don’t mind paying for a streaming service. Don’t know why people complain about that so much obviously actors, directors, writers, etc. need to be paid. I could so do without the AI every time I accidentally click on one 🤮😡🤢😤
AUTOPLAY IS ANNOYING
I don’t know why this app is like this, but whenever I click on a show instead of leading me to its info page, it just starts playing the show right away and it’s really annoying to me and I don’t know why they have this as a base feature. Sometimes I just wanna click on a show and see what it’s about before it starts playing. It can also mess up where I’m at in a show. If it hasn’t been updated yet. My history also gets crowded with a bunch of useless stuff just because I was trying to figure out what I wanted to watch. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I honestly cannot stand this feature. I wish I had the option to at least turn it off. Also, ads whenever I pause as a paying member is really not it.

Love it but cannot comment anymore??
I love this app because it has sooooo many of the Asian dramas I love. Kdramas, cdramas, jdramas and sooooooo many BL dramas!! BUT in the last few months haven’t been able to comment on videos. This is kinda important to me because I’m the only one in my family who watches Asian dramas (well, one of my daughters loves watching anime) and I neeeeed to talk to other people about what I’ve just watched!! I don’t want to constantly have to run to Reddit or mdl to talk about it. Anyway, pleeeease fix it. And yes I’ve tried deleting the cache, logging out and back in again, deleting and reinstalling the app, making sure app was up to date etc, but it doesn’t workkkkkkk
