Hey, thanks for the feedback. Quick note on how IRL works: there's no map, and the check-in screen only populates when you're physically at a bar, restaurant, cafe, or coffee shop. Next time you're out at one, hit the orange check-in button at the top of the home screen and the venue you're in will appear. If you have any trouble at that point, please reach out to support@dateirl.app and we'll help directly. We're new and still spreading the word on how the app works. Thanks for giving it a try.

Thanks for the feedback. IRL is designed to only work when you're physically at a bar or restaurant, so the check-in screen will be empty if you're somewhere else. Next time you're out, hit the orange check-in button at the top of the home screen and the venue you're in should appear. If it doesn't, please email us at support@dateirl.app so we can help. Thanks for the review, and sorry the experience wasn't what you expected. To clarify how IRL works: the app is designed to activate when you're physically at a bar or restaurant, which is why the check-in screen is greyed out elsewhere. The button issue you mentioned at a recognized location sounds like something we should look into. Please reach out to support@dateirl.app so we can help directly.
