No CSV export
The backup is to a proprietary file. This app is of limited use if one cannot export to CSV. Otherwise works nicely in its own world.
Seems to work well
Just downloaded it, and scanned five books. It was able to identify all five books, just one didn’t have a photo of the cover. Was able to organize the scanned books onto a virtual bookshelf, neat inventory tool.
Question
I used this (amazing) app about 18 months ago and wanted to start using it again, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Is it still supported?
Fantastic app and it’s free
I tried a few other apps before this and they either wanted me to subscribe or had very little functionality. This app does exactly what I want it to do for free and it does it very well. It was designed very intuitively as well. Thank you to the person who made this. You have helped me out a lot!

Doesn’t do anything
Literally opened the app, gave it camera access, held it up to the first ISBN barcode….it just sits there. Nothing you click on activated scan, it doesn’t auto recognize a bar code in front of it (like every good scanner app does). Don’t know if it’s just out of date or what, but it doesn’t do anything. Would give it zero stars if I could. Don’t bother with this.

Good potential, unable to export to csv file
Great capture of isbn barcode and even reading of isbn numbers!
However, what use is this list if it can’t be exported to a commonly used file format like csv?

Fantastic app
Incredibly useful tool for creating database of my library. V4 works flawlessly so far.
Just what I needed
The other ISBN scanners required an account. This app does not. It works fine and allows you to share (export) just what you need.
Doesn’t work
Scanned the barcode and then it froze and didn’t do anything.
Exactly what I needed but needs work
This is the only book organizer I could find that scans the ISBN number and OCRs it. I have many old books that have no barcode. But the organizer part needs work. Categories are really needed. You can create different bookshelves but that is not natural or automated enough. I'm glad I can export CSV files to share with other apps. Some apps can't even do that.

Technology demo?
As far as I understood from the website, this App is mainly intended as a demo for the ISBN scanning code which other developers can license. The fact that it can do OCR on numeric ISBN numbers (as well as read the barcodes found in newer books) gives it a key selling point. I wish this code was implemented in some app like CLZ Books... or that this App be developed to make it more capable in itself.

Don’t be fooled by the low ratings this is a great and unique app
Among ISBN scanners, as long as you keep the magnifying in low percentage this is the only ISBN scanner app that will do OCR scans of ISBN numbers from say the copyright page without bar codes!! That feature is incredibly valuable when cataloging older books without ISBN bar codes but still having an assigned ISBN number. I have tried several other ISBN scanners as part of book databases and no other app does this. With your list of ISBN numbers you shared with yourself, put them all in one paragraph 10 at a time separated by commas and do mass bibliography look ups for free at ottobib.com, another unassuming app kind of thing. This present apps makes mistakes but still is amazingly accurate!

Terrible
Could not locate data for half the books, including very popular books published in last five years. Deleted all the entries I made at a random point and there was no way to back up the data I had input, meaning I lost everything. Do not use.
No help or instructions in English
Nothing I do on the app seems to cause any actions. All help screens are in Japanese. Wish I could get it to work, it appears to be just what I need.
Good app for a niche use case
This seems to be a unique app. Although it probably has a narrow audience, when you need to quickly aggregate information about a large number of books, this app will mostly get the job done for you. It is definitely quirky but once you learn your way around some of the quirks in scanning and fails to recognize some books even when the ISBN is scanned properly, it works most of the time; certainly enough to make it worthwhile to use this as opposed to trying to record all the information by hand.
