Park is great / bracelets are pointless

My family and I got season passes and love going to the park. No complaints there. It is a great, quaint, and family-friendly place to have fun.

The bracelets, on the other hand, don’t seem to serve any purpose. They’re meant to help members earn points toward certain rewards. However, the points earned vs the cost of the rewards are are not realistic. Each ride earns you 100 points. You can get a free pretzel for 4000 points. That means you have to ride 10 rides per visit, and visit four times. For season pass holders, that’s challenging on its own. For someone simply visiting one time, it’s impossible. Unless you raise the amount of points you can earn, there’s no point in having bracelets.

Other parks such as Volcano Bay use bracelets in their park experience as well. These bracelets allow you to link your credit card to them, utilizing a one-touch system for purchases. I would be 100% on board with that. Id be able to get drinks, food, and gifts all without making a trip to the locker. I’d spend so much more money. What if you could earn points that way? Just sayin……..that is a big missed opportunity to get people to spend money at the park.

My Happy Place!

I found Island H2O while surfing the web for Florida water parks that are NOT Disney affiliated. It is a quaint family friendly water park and worth the 2 hour drive. I thought it was so cool when I got to watch a Miami Dolphins game in the wave pool! However,
I did not care for the food very much. It’s pricy for the small portions and similar to something I would pull out of my own freezer to cook. Otherwise I love it :)

Frustratingly poor app

First day as a new season pass holder. This app as well as the website for the park are very clunky. Difficult to navigate. And not very intuitive. You sign in with your email and password. Yet you go to look at your benefits, sign in with the same email and password, and you get an authentication error. And this is supposed to be a park that is all about social media? And to top it off when you report the problem thru the “Contact us” page you get another error message asking you to try again!

Frustrating

The app for last summer was way more user friendly than this version. It doesn’t even give you an option to link wristbands. The version before this one let you use the camera to link wristbands. This app is not user friendly at all.
I created an account then logged out and when I logged back in all the information was either changed or gone. Very disappointed with the lack of service this app provides.

Dumbest App ever

This is literally the worst app I have ever seen in my entire adult life. This was created by a five-year-old somewhere. The website, app, and this whole wrist tap points garbage is completely useless.
