Calculates distance wrong
Used to love this app. Lately it’s been calculating distance incorrectly, which means it’s also giving an incorrect pace. I’ve tried adjusting settings for this, and reached out multiple times to the developer without getting any repsonse back.
Great for years but now…
I’ve been using this app for 12 years and it’s been brilliant but suddenly, and not as a result of any update, ALL of my past activities have disappeared! 12 years worth of records gone and no response to my messages requesting assistance.
Buggy with updates
I really like the app and flexibility. However, it is often buggy. For instance, I just upgraded to an ultra and now I cannot end workouts. The app gets stuck on a screen but you cannot swipe to end the workout.
crashes mid run
I like the app, use it for cycling and running but recently it has been crashing on my apple watch mid run , no workout gets recorded. v disappointing. may need to use phone again, but that defeats the point of having a watch only option
Agree with others. Used to be excellent
Used to be my go-to app for most activities and loved so much about it, but I finally cancelled my subscription because the app isn’t keeping up with iOS updates. Constantly need to restart watch or phone to get a proper and inconsistently reliable connection. HR capture variable. Just a struggle. Would love to return to the app but can’t trust it anymore.

Mise à jour grand écran ?
ISmoothRun est toujours bien pour gérer les capteurs de course, mais j’aurais aimé un écran d’affichage plus modulable et compatible avec les écrans actuels. Il a beaucoup de place vide en haut de l’écran . L’application est elle abandonnée ?
Crashes and loses workout
Shows promise but it’s not the best app, and additionally they have crashes on the latest watchOS which means you can’t end your workout and you’ll lose the whole run.
Used to be Great, doesn’t work now
Was a great app and when it works it still is but I run with an Apple Watch and now every run the app freezes and workouts aren’t recorded. It’s incredibly unfortunate since it was such a good app and now I can’t even use it. On the odd occasion it does work it still records everything and is excellent but it’s is always a risk so I barely use it anymore.

Love the App, but a little less each day
This was a fantastic app and I used it for years and achieved great weight loss and fitness goals. Unfortunately I broke my neck and I was out of it all for a few years.
Now I’m back and I’m finding this app hasn’t been kept up to date. It’s been a year since the last update. I’m n that time iOS upgraded, most people’s phone upgraded and most people upgraded their smart watches.
This app hasn’t kept up.
Still a good product but diminishing quickly.

App freezes
Sept 2025 - On the Ultra 2 watch this app freezes on most of my runs. You lose all the data.
Seems like it used to be good.

Used to be good, but not anymore
I write a favorable review of this app 6 years ago. At that time it was in my opinion the best app the market. About a year ago the app started freezing up and losing running data. So disappointing that the developers seemed to have fallen behind. After trying to make this app work and losing data multiple times, I finally gave up and switched to another app called WorkOutdoors which is similar to ISmoothRun, but for me is much more stable and also more customizable. So unfortunately I can no longer recommend ISmoothRun.

Bugge en plein milieu de course sur l’Apple Watch, il faut payer un abonnement en plus de l’achat initial pour avoir accès aux fonctions avancées. Interface limitée à 3 champs par écran. Bref une grosse arnaque! Je souhaite être remboursé !

Mais dommage que l’on ne puisse pas voir le parcours faits en fin de course, ne transmet pas les données gps à l’application santé.
Freezes and no dev reply
Splits notification have caused the iSmoothRun display on my Apple Watch to freeze since November, intermittently and usually on mile 1 or 2 of a walk or run. Disabling splits notification stopped the freezing, then as soon as I re-enabled splits notification the freeze happened again.
I’ve sent 4 emails to the developer but gotten no reply.
I paid $24.99/year for at least 4 years. Now I must try to find another running app.

It doesn’t sync with Garmin app anymore and it constantly freezes and crashes even after re installing

New Apple software, app isn’t working
Since last week when Apple updated my watch and phone, this app has stopped working properly. The update was to OS 11.1, and since this update the watch app will start okay, but after it gives me stats it will freeze on the stat screen, not let me close the stat screen, keeping it frozen and I can’t stop the app from running until I turn my watch off. I’ve contacted the company twice, but have gotten no response that they have the issue or plan to fix it. Will be looking for another app. I really liked this one before this issue.
