About

Rest your iPhone or iPad against your watch and watch its rate appear live — like a bench timegrapher, without the bench. MEASURE LIKE A WATCHMAKER • Daily rate (s/day) and beat error in about 30 seconds, with a live scrolling beat trace • Amplitude from your caliber’s true lift angle (Pro) • Guided position tests with a chronometer-style report (Pro) • Overnight stability runs — drift across the power reserve (Pro) • Magnetism check using your iPhone’s sensors (Pro) MEASURE LIFE ON THE WRIST A bench reading tells you how a watch runs on a table. Isochron’s photo method tells you how it runs on your wrist: photograph the dial, we timestamp it against atomic time, and the drift between photos is your real worn accuracy. YOUR COLLECTION, DOCUMENTED Every watch with photos, specs, serials, full accuracy history, service records, warranty reminders, wear rotation — and a polished PDF insurance report (Pro). COMPARE WITH EVERY OTHER OWNER Your reading lands on the live distribution for your exact model and movement. Better than 84% of Submariner owners? Now you know. Then talk shop in caliber-specific forum boards. FAIR PRICING, NO SUBSCRIPTION Measuring, your collection, the photo method, and the community are free — forever. The bench instruments are one single purchase. No subscription, ever. BUILT FOR IPAD A real split view: your collection down one side, the watch or the instrument on the other. On a wide screen a watch's record opens in two columns. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Audio is analyzed on-device and never uploaded. No ads, no tracking. IAP — Isochron Pro: “Isochron Pro” / “Amplitude, position tests, overnight runs, magnetism check, and the insurance report. One purchase, yours forever.”

Bench mode A live instrument that never stops to think. Rest the phone against a movement and the rate updates as you work — no thirty-second wait, no result screen. Set a reference before you touch the regulator and every adjustment reads as a signed difference from where you started. It also tells you when the reading has settled, so you stop chasing a number that is still moving. Built for iPad A real split view: your collection down one side, the watch or the instrument on the other. On a wide screen a watch's record opens in two columns — identity, controls and service history on the left, charts and readings on the right. Overnight tests that survive the night Recording now continues with the screen off, so an eight-hour run no longer means eight hours of burning display. Readings are written to disk as they happen: if something interrupts the app, you are offered the run back instead of losing the night. Use a better microphone Plug in a USB or wired microphone and choose it in Settings. Bluetooth microphones are offered too, and honestly labelled — they record narrowband audio and throw away most of the tick. A reference clock Network time with a sweep second hand, the offset of your phone's own clock, and how well that offset is actually known. For setting a watch, and for checking one. Temperature, and what it does to your watch Tag a reading with the ambient temperature. Once a few readings span a real range, Isochron works out your watch's coefficient — how many seconds a day it gains or loses per degree — and what a seasonal swing does to it. The wear log A calendar of every day you wore each watch, a timeline, and the numbers: days worn, longest streak, typical gap, the day of the week you reach for it. Tap any day to record or correct it. Your rotation can now be sorted by what you have neglected longest. Also in this release • Export your whole collection as CSV, ready for a spreadsheet • Archive watches you no longer own without losing their history • Fixed the most common crash — starting a measurement after a phone call • Tag readings with what the watch was doing: resting, desk, active, sport • The home screen widget is now translated • Choosing a photo no longer stalls the app while it is processed
