no copy the output function?
seems absurd that this app doesn’t have any functionality to copy the result of what you convert. i guess i could keep a sharpened pencil handy and a scratch pad to write down the results for manual retype.

Works as advertised
It's a quick download and it instantly generates the soundex. Great app to teach others how the soundex system works.
Boon for geneologists
The app is simple, targeted, and effective. Perfect for anyone needing to know the soundex code for a name they are trying to look up in census records. While many computer geneology programs already do this (such as Reunion), I don't see the function in Reunion's iPhone app. So the iSoundex app fills a good niche. I did note that when I typed in a name with an apostrophe (of the "O'xxx" variety), the Daitch-Mokotoff system produced all zeros while the American soundex worked. I had to remove the apostrophe to generate the Daitch-Mokotoff code.
