Improve the tracking of the iTag

You get what you pay for

No instructions for setting up. Turns off or disconnects for no reason. Alerts at different distances. Had to mess with it so see what each icon is for on the app. Didn’t cost much to start with. So, I guess not to expect much. I’ll probably be looking for a better replacement soon.

Unable to work

I wanted this app to help me, when I misplace my car keys. However I am disappointed. When I scanned the app I found many of our home bt devices, but none I can sync with the tracker . Our TV, my hearing aid & a few of my smart watches, but not the watch I was wearing. Icons with no descriptions, no settings icon. I asked our son, who is an attorney, to help me, but he was unable to help me.
This app has low review ratings. It seems the developer has some tweaking to do.

I hate the product and the app

Stupid thing just beep when ever but you get what you pay for trying to be cheap

Not recommended for pets.

I bought three. Set up seemed quirky. The first iTag seemed to attach easily. The next two were not so simple. They just did not appear to let the software attach to them.

This then followed that the first photo attached easily by taking a photo. The second attempt would not let me take a photo but after quitting the software and relaunching, I was successful. I have not been able to attach a third picture to the third iTag.

My cat patiently allowed me to attach the iTag to its collar then jumped down to get a drink. The iTag is not waterproof nor water resistant.

Only one is now working reliably. Right now, one pet is about two fet from me and my iPad is having difficulty connecting to it. Another pet is 12 feet away. Same issue but it is the iTag that got wet. Probably the reason even though I opened it and let it dry out. The third pet is about nine feet away and connects fine unless the pet walks into another room then it becomes “lost”.

Since these are not waterproof nor even water resistant I doubt if I will keep them on my pets. There are many times the software/hardware disconnects when I can clearly see the animal. Bluetooth is supposed to be better than line of sight.

WiFi? What WiFi, if I cannot rely on Bluetooth within a 24 x 42 building how can I trust it a hundred or so feet away?

The advertisement states there is a “radar” mode. Presumably it refers to a directional mode. There appears to not be available or else not implemented.

Maybe two stars is too high a rating.

Incredibly terrible

Just pretty much everything about this is bad. No instructions on set up and doesn't have a map which confuses me.
