How does WayToday protect my privacy?
WayToday generates a random ID for each recording session and does not collect any personal or device information. It only transmits the random ID and location data, ensuring that recorded tracks cannot be linked back to a real person.
How long are my recorded tracks stored?
Recorded tracks are stored on servers until they are intentionally removed by changing the ID or until two weeks have passed since the most recent activity. Servers store a maximum of 500 most recent locations.
Can others see my location without installing WayToday?
Yes, anyone who knows the link to the track can view it by clicking the web link. No other applications or account creation are necessary for viewing.
How do I ensure my location is not tracked after I've arrived?
After arriving at your destination, you can tap the 'refresh' button to change the ID. This action immediately removes previously recorded locations and starts a new ID for future recordings, thus protecting your privacy.
