Everyday use

This has been a terrific app to help me learn Italian grammar and spelling. I use it daily to improve my writing

Very useful

Trip to Italy and very useful to search one word but then be given multiple common phrases and uses of the work in Italian.

Free version is not so good

If you get the free version, and you tried to use the microphone, you have to watch an ad before you get the results. One big pain in the butt.

Not free to use offline tool.

Not free. Have to upgrade to use offline tool.

Pain

You get to hear only one translation the have to watch an ad.

Continuous Annoying Ads

Impossible to focus

Good for Italy

This helps me a lot for me when I go to Italy

Best app I have ever had.

Outstanding app.

Really good

I work for Karmwud Loops and am using this fantastic translator for a song

Mrs Patricia Craggs

Excellent help for studying Italian. I use it all the time

Inexpensive and useful

Works offline, provides definitions of words and quick translation. Also in both directions. Also gives numerous examples of usage for each word in a sentence.

benissimo

I used this everyday whistle I was in Italy. It’s not perfect but it was very helpful. Highly recommended!!

Fantastico

Mi place troppo molto been!

Worst I seen so far

Some words like Piano in Italian it will not give you a translation. The Italian pronunciation is with an American accent.
Other words they confuse the order of the English and Italian sentences.

Great easy to use app

Seems to be a lot of errors and no ability to handle local phrases

I have used this app for Italian for years. But I don’t think it is as accurate grammatically as it used to be. So now I am wondering if there is another app in the age of AI which might improve on this. I’m looking for a translator app which also provides sentences (examples) using the exact term I am learning. A problem with this app is that the examples it provides are not using the exact term I am looking for. So for example, you learn a new term in class and you want to practice by looking at multiple sentences. You enter the term into this app and it typically returns only one example (if that) using the exact term you entered. And the other examples it provides are WAY off track using completely different terms which don’t even relate often times. I have found ReversoContext to be similar in this regard. Both of these apps have been around for decades and I’m wondering if it’s time to switch to something more accurate and useful using AI models. Still, it does return a translation with sentences which good old fashioned google does not do.

Pronunciation doesn’t work offline

Great little app…except the audio pronunciation doesn’t work offline.

Convenient but too many incorrect translations

I liked it at first until I learned many translations were wrong.
Even just simple, basic, single words.

App is useful but has a major problem

This app I’ve found useful for keeping a saved word and phrase translation list when I run across Italian words that I need to look up and want to remember. However, it has an annoying habit of autocorrecting the Italian into garbled English when I type in a word or phrase search. I need to type it in a second time, then I’m given the option to return to the correct version of the word, and can star it. This happens consistently and is a waste of time. Any ideas what’s happening, developers? I’m using the latest version. If this problem was fixed, I’d give the app five stars. I’m on an iPhone 11.

Also, it would be helpful to be able to star and keep in my personal list any of the options that come up when I search a word or phrase, and not just the first exact translation.
